Question 57: Are you concerned about the use of misinformation in reports about violence against, and suicide in, the ‘trans community’?

RESPONDENT COMMENT: “The misinformation about the self harm, suicide risks and risk of violence to trans people in the UK is being spread widely in schools. This is appallingly dangerous to children and young people as it is likely to create fear and exacerbate any existing mental health problems instead of helping them.”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “The propaganda around all things trans is one of the most powerful and dominating in modern history. Things that make absolutely no sense are taken as gospel by many in the public because of that propaganda. So many different fields have been taken in by it, but by force and propaganda, not because people were given accurate information and decided for themselves based on understanding all the ramifications. Complete lies and a belief system have been foisted on the public with almost no discussion”.
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “The trans day of remembrance seemed such a cynical tactic.”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “I find it hard to believe the lie surrounding suicide is used & has been used by institutions, medics, charities, public figures & elected members of parliaments around the world, without seemingly any fact checking at all. The capture of the press in reporting is truly Orwellian. Survivors of rape being compelled to call their rapist ‘she’ & ‘her’ is court & state sanctioned abuse & trauma. The capture of our public bodies, Courts, NHS, State Education by gender ideology will take a long time to untangle, I think it’s started, but we’ve so much to do.”
Question 58: Are you concerned that crimes of violence and sexual assault by men are reported and recorded as women’s crimes?

Fig. 65
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “Along with the threat to women’s rights, the denial of reality is one of the things that makes gender ideology so terrifying. Our society HAS to be based on the truth or it cannot function. It’s as simple as that. So when we deny reality by recording male crimes as having been committed by women, it’s truly Orwellian. And to add insult to injury, it will be used by TRAs to argue, “See, ‘cis women’ attack people too, so there’s no excuse to exclude ‘trans women!'” The recognition of reality and the right to name it are critical to a free society. When we’re no longer allowed to call things for what they objectively are, we’re in a very dangerous place as a civilization. Colin Wright summed it up very well when he wrote, “I’m frequently asked why I focus so much on the nature of biological sex. It’s because in my view this may be reality’s last stand. If this undeniable fact can be denied en masse, then we become hostages to chaos. We simply cannot afford to lose our collective tether to reality”.”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “Not our crimes. It makes me sick that we are expected to own this.”
Question 59: Are you concerned that sex-based discrimination and violence cannot be evidenced since these are no longer recorded by sex?

Fig. 66
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “The statistics cannot be meaningful unless everyone is clear on what is meant by certain descriptors such as ‘women; and ‘man’. There is already evidence (e.g. in the stats on attempted murder stats where 1 person IDing as a woman meant the stats went from 5% to 20% if I remember the figure correctly) that just a small number of trans women identifying as women has a major impact on the figures. How can we know how to tackle crime if we are unclear of what motivates a crime (women are attacked on the basis of their sex, not on whether they have long hair or wear nail polish etc.)”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “This is dangerous for now and for the future. We’ll have no real data to make provisions for women and girls’ safety after our rights have been decimated and sexual assaults sky rocket.”
Question 60: Are you concerned about men who identify as ‘trans’ committing sexualised crimes against women and girls?
Not at all | A little | A moderate amount | A lot | A great deal | Total | Missing | Total
Number | 29 | 21 | 97 | 229 | 2561 | 2937 | 6 | 2943 |
% | 1 | 0.7 | 3.3 | 7.8 | 87 | 99.8 | 0.2 | 100 |
Fig. 67
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “I always find it so painfully telling that a man can commit the most heinous crime imaginable against a woman or a child, and yet the moment he identifies as trans, suddenly he is not to be talked about because it might reflect poorly on the trans community. If he is talked about, everyone is to use his new feminine pronouns in order to validate his identity, even though he couldn’t have cared less about the rights of his (usually female) victims. Because the feelings of a man, even a vile and violent one, are always more important than the dignity of women.”
Question 61: Are you concerned by the assertion that women have privilege over men who claim to be women?

Fig. 68
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “It’s nonsense that women are privileged over trans women. The new hierarchy is men, trans women, trans men and then women.”
Question 62: Are you concerned about the loss of sex-based rights and disregard for sex as a protected characteristic?
Not at all | A little | A moderate amount | A lot | A great deal | Total | Missing | Total

Fig. 69
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “It leads to statistically derived information being useless or even harmful. Disinformation about suicide and self harm increases the risk to vulnerable gender dysphoric young people and goes categorically against the principles for reducing suicide. It is also abusive as it is a silencing tactic. Frankly politicians and others in positions of power have a responsibility to listen to all points of view and make sure they are correctly and fully informed. Expecting victims of violence and sexual assault to use “preferred pronouns” is a continuation of abuse on the part of the state as well as the offender. It is important that sex is correctly recorded (with gender identity recorded separately when relevant or required). Having sex as a protected characteristic and retaining single sex spaces is vital for the safety of women and children and for fairness (as well as safety) in sport. (By sex I mean biological sex not gender identity!) Research shows that the offending profile of trans-identified males, as a group, is on a par with, or worse than, that of men as a whole. 98-99% of sex offenders are male and males are generally significantly stronger that females.”
Question 63: Are you concerned about organisations misinforming people about the law relating to women and sex-based rights?

RESPONDENT COMMENT: “It’s very painful to see historical female figures, especially lesbians, being completely erased and renamed men. As women we have and still are struggling for our recognition in the history and society, and our role models are being taken away and called men. It makes me want to cry.”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “Transing the dead is abhorrent.”
Question 65: Are you concerned about having to refer to our assailants, including our rapists, as women, when giving evidence?
Not at all | A little | A moderate amount | A lot | A great deal | Total | Missing | Total

Fig. 72
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “Only a tiny percentage of assaults against women is ever even reported. I know from my own young days how common it is, and it is always down-played. But when women do have the courage to report it, there can be nothing more humiliating than to pretend they were overpowered by another “woman”, to have to lie in court, to indulge the fantasies of their abuser. These men also call themselves “women” specifically to escape punishment or make prison life cushier for themselves. Skewing crime statistics gives men carte blanche to get away with FAR more crimes than they already did in the past. As crimes by “women” statistically rise, so men’s crimes go down in statistics, making them look better than they are, while we look worse than we are. Male criminals being “women” is the ultimate insult. Clinical settings: fraud and abuse. If we’re told we’ll be seen by a woman, and don’t find out till we get to our appointment that we were misled, we’re not prepared psychologically even if we WOULD have consented. Anyone denying bio-sex is obviously unequipped mentally for a job in healthcare.”
Question 66: Are you concerned about gender identity ideology being promoted in therapeutic, healthcare or clinical settings?

RESPONDENT COMMENT: “I’m experiencing trauma because of my loss of my girl. I’ve been referred to IAPT and on my first telephone appointment I was given resources to “help me accept my son”.”
RESPONDENT COMMENT: “I work in mental health and it’s heartbreaking to see vulnerable people groomed by this ideology when they need good mental health care instead.”

Women’s Comments
“All of this serves to bury the reality of MALE violence – something we don’t talk about enough to begin with”!
“Re-framing history is creating confusion for younger generations. This should be challenged and children need to be protected from this. I think that health organisations that proactively misinform the public should be challenged and their management should be removed from their positions. Some legal challenge would be beneficial to stop the spread of misinformation by organisations.”
“I am worried that media articles talking about women raping and/or murdering women, when they actually mean men who claim to be women, will only serve to perpetuate a misogynist narrative that women commit violence too and even that women are just as bad as men. It serves to belittle the seriousness and urgency of violence against women. I find it alarming that medical students are being taught it is bigoted and wrong to talk in terms of biological reality, no that it is not only OK but right and proper to refer to women by their biological functions (cervix-havers or menstruators for example) which is extremely demeaning and only further entrenches society’s portrayal of women as inferior. Especially when men are not referred to by their body parts or genitalia. They remain men.”
“I feel so angry and sad every time I see gender lies in the media. The newspapers contain “feel-good” stories such as “traumatised bullied boy from a poor family becomes a sexy blonde woman, look at her tits!” and “young person is not a woman anymore, let’s listen to her unique experience of being an actual person”. And hearing about “LGBT” makes my blood boil because the T is an impostor that is terrorizing the L and the G.”
“Misinformation is being used to demonise women, and to justify taking away our safety and our spaces. It’s also being used to stoke fears in the trans community which, coupled with the propensity of trans activists to threaten us with violence seems like turning this situation into a powder keg. I am worried more women will get physically hurt. I’m also worried that people who transition will have worse mental health because they will genuinely believe people are out to get them.”
“I am afraid that it will be illegal to explore and discuss with someone who is considering transitioning in a therapeutic or psychological setting, that it will be considered ‘conversion therapy’ and a hate crime. This is disgusting.”
“So sick of it especially from politicians etc. who have the knowhow and access to get the true facts.”
“I am very worried about the impact of gender identity ideology in healthcare e.g. men claiming to be women on women’s wards.”
“I feel as though I woke up in Orwell’s 1984 – or in Brave New World. Having to lie about material reality is a form of torture.”
“Therapists and doctors who have moved away from this ideology and affirmation only model need to speak up and organise and get to politicians and institutions!”
“Apart from everything, I’m so concerned seeing women supporting this nonsense and allying with trans, I cannot understand it.”
“Men having their crimes recorded as female undermines safeguarding. False claims about “transphobia” hurt kids whose lives are already being derailed by this cult. Also deflects attention from tackling violence against women and girls.”
“I am very concerned about misinformation in the healthcare field as it is very important to know a person’s biological sex.”
“If we cannot define a woman accurately, we cannot in law protect her adequately. It’s as simple as that. Sex not gender.”
“No one is denying people’s feelings but we can’t change our whole English language and be forced to learn a new language which will cause English speakers distress, and non English speakers trying to learn the language even more distress when trying to learn. Treat all people with respect and that’s enough.”
“Males running Rape Crisis centres or being admitted to them is already making women self exclude.”
“Healthcare should be evidence based. I am horrified that the NHS has been captured and abandoned this principle.”
“The misinformation surrounding this issue continues to shock me. I cannot see how a sane society would allow this madness to continue. It is opening the doors to the erosion of stability, security and safety for our children and the erasure of women’s rights. We are being manipulated by a fundamentally flawed ideology. The transgender agenda is an assault on women and it is amoral in regards to children. Both women and children need to be protected from this destructive ideology.”
“I am horrified at this being promoted in schools by people who should understand safeguarding and clearly don’t.”
“It seems that the trans community can do and say what they like without repercussion. Lies being spread on social media about trans surgery, lies about puberty blockers, lies about people can change their sex…it’s utter madness.”
“How can a man id as a woman and take a position of trust in a safe space where traumatized women are taking refuge or seeking help due to male abuse.”
“We seem to have lost touch with the real world since biological sex is a fact of evolution, characteristic of all mammals. It’s like living in a world infected by a psychological virus and dominated by indoctrination!”
“I’m a therapist, not working as one at the moment. However, I am still working in the field.” It is really worrying that TRA are using normal necessary therapy to support gender confused people, especially children and calling it ‘conversion’ therapy. It’s not. I really couldn’t work as a therapist with this going on. What makes things worse is people who are not on Twitter or other SM, they don’t realise laws are being changed with all this. People don’t believe me when I tell them about women’s prisons & male rapists who self I’d are being treated as crimes by women. Not enough news coverage on the truth due to stonewall capture.”
“The phrase ‘gender identity ideology’ is unhelpfully close to ‘gender ideology.’ ‘Gender ideology’ is used by anti-feminists to lump basic feminism, abortion rights, gay and lesbian rights, all sex education, and transgender practices together. Let’s call misogyny misogyny, let’s call patriarchy patriarchy, let’s call sex role stereotypes sex role stereotypes. ‘Gender identity ideology’ is too broad and erases the problem of sex role stereotyping and its origin in patriarchal control of women and girls.”
“No women should be put at risk with male prisoners.”
“I simply don’t know who I can trust anymore when the seeming majority is going along with this insanity. When I donate blood, they ask my gender now instead of my sex as if gender matters one whit.”
“Without accurate information and plain language we lose the ability to make sound policy and decisions.”
“I think that misinformation (and people constantly repeating that misinformation) is exactly how trans rights activists have gotten as far as they have, and I find it very concerning how many organizations and media companies just run with it. It’s propaganda that is highly dangerous and which needs to be fought as much as possible if we want a real chance at changing the conversation (or even having one).”
“Our public schools are indoctrinating innocent children into believing that they can actually change their sex. Textbooks are being updated with false information.”
“In a court of law you swear to tell the truth so how can you possibly refer to a male-bodied person as she/her without breaking that vow.”
“This ideology is horrific and regressive.”
“I see gender ideology as nothing more than a men’s rights movement. I see all this misinformation as an attempt to gaslight us. I worry for the women survivors of sexual violence who have to refer to their assailants as ‘her’, I fear for women who may find it difficult to find single-sex spaces for therapy and healing. I am sick of the trans lobby telling us we’re calling men who want access to women’s space predators. Men are predators, men who force against women’s boundaries are not to be trusted. I am sick of women having to put themselves yet again at the back of the queue.”
“Male power in a phallocentric culture erases female power and women’s capacity to control the reproduction of the species.”
“I am very concerned that organisations are peddling the nonsense that men can become women and vice versa. When did biology stop mattering.”
“So difficult to deal with lies especially from government sources so need to provide evidence to expose lies and twisted truths.”
“Misinformation relies upon assertions being accepted as facts, so the public statements released by people in the transgender movement (again these statements are so similar in so many countries that there has to be some effective, background orchestration) always claim victimisation, abuse and hate crimes as being ‘well-evidenced’ or having ‘clear evidence’, but this ‘evidence’ is never stated, never explained. In the meantime, those who disagree with transgender ideology are aggressively victimised, abused and inundated with hate messages and threats of violence. The irony is self-evident. Q66 How gender identity and the clinical procedures it entails, have managed to be promoted by health professionals is baffling in the extreme. The constant hounding of those who do not subscribe to gender identity and affirmative therapy, has been made public and it is very worrying that experienced practitioners with differing approaches are being silenced. What scientific research justifies mutilating healthy bodies for the sake of an ideology that lacks a rigorous definition? There is also evidence to suggest that those health professionals working to help people to transition do not follow up on their patients’/clients’ subsequent progress. There are an increasing number of detransitioners, who are speaking about their experiences and criticising the lack of care that they received.”
“I am a lawyer and am deeply concerned about this eradication of women and distortion of statistics. I think if a woman who has been attacked by a male who self identifies as a woman is required by the judge to call their attacker a different gender is a prolongation and authority- supported diminishing of the victim.”
“Misinformation is terrifying. Propaganda and another sign of autocracy. In order to provide services then information needs to be accurate. Without Sex we can’t defend our sex based rights. It’s difficult to imagine anyone trying to erode the female sex.”
“As a woman who suffered child abuse & rape, it would break me to have to refer to a man that had attacked me, with female pronouns. I’d end up in jail as I genuinely couldn’t do it. I’d feel abused all over again. That scares me.”
“The equalities act and exemptions are being ignored.”
“Men do not belong in women’s prisons under any circumstances, these women are already vulnerable and at risk and the only place they go to feel safe away from male violence is now being infiltrated and it’s a scandal.”
“Crimes should be recorded by sex. Women are statistically not violent offenders and crimes committed by males are not our crimes. Males should also not be incarcerated with females.”
“A society that cannot speak the truth without being attacked or upbraided is in a very dangerous position. Governments plan using statistics and if they are skewed, the data is worthless.”
“Crimes by men are being recorded as female. This is disgraceful also men are being housed in female prisons putting vulnerable women in danger this also violates their human rights.”
“Gender ideology & the slogan based model promoted-affirmation without exception, is dangerous IMO. The lack of care & regard shown to detransitioners is cruel & health care settings are failing them.”
“Data matters for many reasons. Historical records matter, for many reasons. Distorting or misrepresenting the facts is dangerous and particularly dangerous for women.”
“I am furious at all of the above. It is a lie that women commit rape, and I am insulted that this keeps happening.”
“This is a clear sign of totalitarianism. GI ideology is a legal fiction and a state sanctioned religion. There’s no truth in any of it and we’re all forced to lie, even to ourselves.”
“These ideas are now taken as “truths” and any criticism of them is subjected to violent opposition and vitriol. Only, if women stand together and continue to get the truth about these ideas out into the broader public will we be able to fight this. I think Universities will need to die, and new institutions rise in their place. I can’t see how we will back out of this, now that most academics are on the left and a significant proportion on the far-left – and these obsessed ideologues are willing to do pretty much anything to gain power. Eric Kauffman’s study of the illiberal left at Universities is jaw dropping.”
“Gendering individuals does nothing more than to continue the patriarchal society we’ve fought hard to tear down.”
“I am appalled and what passes for journalism these days.”
“Misinformation in the context of gender identity ideology knows no bounds. I believe knowing the background of this ideology (for example by reading Pluckrose’s Cynical Theory) helps understanding the confusing statements and puts them into context. It also helped me to keep calm in the face of outright lies.”
“Orwell would have binned this stuff as too farfetched and unbelievable.”
“I first came across this when Maria MacLachlan was assaulted at speaker’s corner and was horrified at how ‘captured’ the judge was. The way a certain GP felt that he was able to talk about TERFs on Twitter was a shocking dereliction of his professional duties and yet…”
“Recording transwomen’s crimes as being committed by women permits men to say heinous sexual crimes are also committed by women, which undermines our ability to defend women’s interests.”
“Women’s programs and studies have always been linking to data. Men have made us prove, over and over again how disadvantaged we are. That is all fucking gone now. Damn them.”
“Laws are meaningless if there is no truth.”
“I am extremely concerned about TIMs on hospital wards and prisons where women can’t escape or may be incapacitated.”
“These survey questions help me to become aware of the strategies gender ideologists may use in the future, in my surroundings.”
“It’s just complete patriarchal bullshit and needs to be called out as such!”
“Concern isn’t a strong enough word for the disgust and rage I feel for women having to refer to their assailants in court as she.”
“I am so frustrated that people will say ‘time is a social construct’ to dismiss being late or ‘money is a social construct’ to deal with being broke, but they do not see the farce in putting ‘gender is a social construct’ on a pedestal. So many people are elevating gender above sex, and it’s gotten to the point that people think it is transphobic to point out sex differences. No. Reality is not transphobic. It is just a fact that men and women are different, and I don’t know how we are going to discuss medical sexism or why men have been able to abuse women for so long (with their stronger bodies) if we no longer are allowed to recognize sex. Women have not been oppressed because we identify with oppression and long hair but because our bodies are weaker and bear children and men have long had the strength to control us. This is the reality, and we need to be able to address it.”
“Hyperbole, misinformation and trans rhetoric is very rarely challenged in the media. The most marginalised, discriminated against rhetoric is never evidenced but is perpetuated by politicians of all parties, MSM, without evidence or critical thought or evaluation. It’s just parroting.”
“All of this is denying us the language we need to talk about these issues.”
“Orwellian nightmare compelling speech, compliance and repeat medieval erasure of women. I’m outraged.”
“The lies they tell and the lies they expect us to tell – the encouragement to bridge our personal boundaries and deny the evidence of our eyes. It is utterly ridiculous and unsustainable. The push that men give birth and the resulting denial of a child of his or her mother when years of child development studies highlight how important the mother baby relationship is… the cost of this misinformation of this approach is captured amongst detransitioners and desisters and they are not being given the air time they need.”
“I have never heard of famous women being posthumously transitioned? This is a first for me. That is shocking.”
“I’m fine with addressing people the way they want to be addressed, and some level of legal fiction. But crime stats, women’s prisons, news reports? No way. It’s important to know what is actually happening.”
“I am very afraid of how successfully the ideology has infiltrated health care and mental health care. I worry we will never recover, that gender ideology can no longer be stopped.”
“It is ALL absolutely outrageous.”
“The affirmation model of transgender care will be proven to be the biggest medical scandal in history.”
“It’s rude. My own history of activism tells me trans were NOT at the forefront of law changes to legalize sex between gay men (1979’s). This outright lie was posted on a gay Wellington Facebook page. I have photos that show trans were nowhere to be seen at inaugural conferences and marches etc.”
“When filling in an online form for a gp consultation, I was asked to state my gender: woman, man, other. I chose other. It enabled me to state that I was of the female sex and that I didn’t have a gender. I also sent in a formal complaint.”
“In Australia there is very little mainstream media questioning gender identity ideology.”
“I’m really concerned about gi ideology and foetal medicine, healthcare of children and young people, and women’s healthcare. When healthcare organisations and their regulators follow gi ideology it undermines the scientific evidence base that they exhort their professions to practise by. Contradictory and confusing.”
“What happened to being evidence based? I am not allowed to carry out a procedure at work if there’s no research or evidence about its effectiveness, and yet I’m also expected to believe “not everyone who gives birth is a woman”.”
“I’m concerned that medical staff may be reported or sacked if they express disquiet over mixed-sex wards, or patients being asked to leave if they are unhappy in the same situation.”
“Where to start? I feel a wave of despair answering this section’s questions. We have to roll back this capture of language and information/misinformation and return the world to sanity and to the material reality of sex.”
“The general public are not aware of much of the dangers in this new ‘ideology’ – it must be explained to people what is going on otherwise we will be politically sleepwalking into a situation such as in Norway, Canada, or some States in the US, whereby laws are passed making gender critical views a punishable offence. It’s beyond crazy – it is widespread gaslighting.”
“It’s not only dangerous, it is and will continue to be fatal for women everywhere.”
“The idea rape can be recorded as a female crime is horrific. People who self ID should be charged based on their sex and identified as trans.”
“I was never informed about detransition, what it’s like, how many do it, etc, by health care providers during my transition.”
“It’s everywhere and people are starting to think it’s ok. The media do not report the facts or even opinions on why the trans agenda is dangerous for women and children.”
“I lost my oldest friend – a biologist at that – because I refused to call her autistic, manipulative son her daughter. I was told if he committed suicide it would be down to me & other bigots like me.”
“Information and data is meaningless if it is not accurate.”
“There can be no crimes based on sex, when gender is the only demographic being used. No more femicide or women being abused by men.”
“I originally misunderstood ‘inclusiveness ‘ and believed what I now know to be misinformation and downright lies from some friends and colleagues.”
“One of the things that makes me most anxious is the flagrant lies being told in the name of trans rights by institutions which *have got* to be trustworthy. When the Royal Society of Biology denies biological sex, how does society keep functioning? We need experts and we need to trust experts. How can we do that when they will tell us that male people are female?”
“The mainstream media has never been able to examine itself and its biases. Neutrality is an illusion and only when media, both mainstream and social, accept their biases and yet still strive for some semblance of neutrality will we ever get the true story of trans ideology.”
“All of this is happening and has already happened. I will NOT refer to a man as a woman, EVER (she screamed). I don’t care what the consequences are, I will NOT BE CONTROLLED and told what to think or say.”
“Sex is immutable. It is scientific fact. I’m particularly upset when scientific facts are misrepresented to CHILDREN.”
“It’s so nuts. I see how fast the disinformation travels. How for instance kids in a school near me celebrate Marsha P Johnson as a trans woman who threw the first brick at Stonewall! Or how Joan of Arc was trans. Or how Maya Forstater and JKRowling are horrible transphobes. Or how Keira Bell is a transphobe. These are stories told in my town! I also hate how everyone including journalists say “AFAB” or “born in the wrong body” or how trans people are the most vulnerable, based on nothing. I hate that in schools they pretend kids will commit suicide if they are not affirmed in the other gender (sex!?) and if they can’t use the opposite sex bathrooms. (In my town, not something I read on the news).”
“Therapeutic, healthcare, and clinical settings should not be promoting an ideology. Their job is to provide care for a patient.”
“This wilful pretend is harming people and will do for generations to come.”
“As a woman who works for NHS and who recently had to have hysterectomy, I found it really difficult when the organisation put out communication inviting ‘people with a cervix’ to come forward for cervical screening.”
“These questions shouldn’t have to be asked. A woman with a penis is NOT A THING. What happened to common and biological sense?”
“”If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed by the truth”. I am not subject to believe in Islam, Judaism, Buddhisim and am equally free to be a Gender Atheist.”
“Healthcare etc. settings is the biggest scandal, leading to the damage to young people’s bodies, the embedding of lies that sex is irrelevant in society. Healthcare bodies MUST stop these lies and promoting “gender identity” that has NO medical evidence to support it is the most heinous. The LAW demanding that women must call men, who have traumatised them by raping/assaulting them, female pronouns compounds the trauma and is state sanctioned demands for perjury. Women are being told that they must not lie on the stand, yet are at the same time being told to LIE about a fundamental part of what has traumatised them in court lest they be the ones jailed for “Contempt of Court”. Yet it is the Law, the Court that is contemptuous of the truth. That law makers are actively seeking to change laws to reflect individual fantasies of self as “real” over the natural and biological state of Sex that is immutable and binary, is particularly horrific. In one fell swoop it prevents Women calling out the sex based discrimination against them – it is State Sanctioned support of Male Violence Against Women and Girls. “transing” historical women is appalling revisionist history that again denies truth and evidence. But we see this all the time in areas such as healthcare and law where evidence is very clear that sex is relevant but “gender identity” is not.”
“Crime stats should never be recorded by gender but by sex. This should in itself be a crime. Very very scary times for women! Like I said before, this is a witch hunt on women.”
“Civil society should not prioritise any religion and TRA is a religion, or more precisely, a cult.”
“Women are already more likely to be misdiagnosed or given inappropriate or wrongly dosed treatments, and women’s health matters are still a greater mystery than men’s. This is due to the fact that medical studies have focused on men. Identifying men as women further ruins health data at women’s expense. I couldn’t have faith in a doctor who pretended it was safe to pretend that humans could change sex. I would think their medical incompetence would endanger my health and life.”
“There is no injustice without mendacity. These miscarriages of injustice are growing out of a dung hill of lies, that is why anybody who speaks the truth has to be silenced, unpersoned, cancelled etc.”
“If I see ‘gender’ on forms, I correct it to ‘sex’. It matters. Same as historic female figures – our girls need role models, and to suggest a woman who pretended to be a man at a time when women weren’t encouraged to work, must actually have been a ‘trans man’ is ludicrous. The assertion that trans persons are the most maligned, the most vulnerable, is not true! And associations like Girl Guides who could use single sex exemptions CHOOSE not to, it’s crazy. The misinformation surrounding who can use what facilities, when organisations can choose to make those facilities single sex, again, crazy. And the fact that Stonewall got away with selling this misinformation as fact, is criminal!”
“It’s the basis of the whole thing. People in the science community are being granted research dollars to publicly nullify sex as something that can be clearly defined. Thankfully there are some who are dedicated to truth and can still use their voice.”
“Our language, resources, and funding now center trans persons as the most needy and vulnerable group to violence and abuse. Men’s violence against women is being erased through the (deliberate) gender neutralizing of the violence; “everyone can be a victim of violence and anyone can be a perpetrator”.”
“I work with sexual assault survivors and IPV survivors and the fact that we are not getting accurate data regarding violence against women by men because the perpetrators are biological men claiming to be women is terrifying. This affects laws made to protect women and girls, funding, and resources. If our data is inaccurate then funding and resources are directed in the wrong way, and that is extremely harmful to women because there is already a lack of funding and resources when it comes to caring for victims/survivors.”
“I have been battling with my organisation around the correct use of the EA 2010, and continue to object strenuously within research applications which have replaced sex with gender and asking if one identifies as a woman etc.”
“I am about to finish a BSW. I do not like how gender ideology has tainted the field. Yes, I do personally celebrate trans identity as a form of human diversity but NOT at the expense of LGB people and girls/women. I want to be able to push for policies to ensure all options are tried before greenlighting medical transition.”
“Gender identity ideology is a patriarchal backlash against feminism and is used to ‘put women in their place’.”
“I am not so much worried about ‘trans’ identified individuals carrying out sexual attacks on women and girls but about predatory men using trans identity as a way to access vulnerable people. Predatory men have done this throughout history but now we are abandoning our safeguarding because some men say they feel like women. The vast, vast majority of violent and sexual crimes are carried out by men.”
“History is being rewritten, propaganda and indoctrination of the young is rife in our classrooms. I’ve just had a weeping student on the phone for a whole hour today! over the indoctrination she is receiving on trans rights in the classroom and she is terrified of being victimised if she expresses her concerns.”
“Manipulation of history is a tool of aggression and zealotry. It never ends well.”
“The propaganda is shocking. Especially for children using social media being groomed. Especially to win hearts and minds of the unsuspecting public.”
“It is enforced lying. It is all very Orwellian, and I fear it presages the decline into an authoritarian culture.”
“I would like truth and facts to be presented. Mammals are either male or female, a vanishing small number of people are intersex. It is actually impossible to change sex. Most people don’t see trans as what they identify with. And most don’t want to date outside their sexual orientation. These facts should be honestly pointed out to those seeking to transition.”
“This lying and gaslighting is not good for our mental health.”
“My good friend was always a very effeminate gay man. He was convinced by a counsellor, during a very difficult time in his life, that what he was really was, was a Trans woman. He went through the steps, got gender re-assignment surgery. Now he is stable, takes anti-depressants and sees the world more clearly and believes the surgery was the worst decision he ever made and was pressured into it at a very vulnerable time in his life.”
“I am extremely concerned about men being housed as women in prisons and jails, including youth facilities including facilities that specifically cater to pregnant women and their nursing babies.”
“If doctors don’t know what a woman is, what on earth!!!!”
“This really impacts my work training social workers how to respond to women experiencing violence rape and abuse, skews the stats, services and minimises women’s experience.”
“I research this full time. I am very concerned. The suicide stats to blackmail parents into medicalising our kids, the murder stats for trans-identifying males, the terrible research underlying puberty blockers etc. This movement is built on a foundational lie. Men cannot be women…”
“I have recently had my posts limited on fb for posting things that were not factual, a pic of snowflakes under a microscope was one. 90 plus days. Yet men can declare they are women without so much as a shaving off their beard. I’m livid.”
“So much cognitive dissidence!!!!”
“Our world can’t function if we don’t agree on material reality. If a transgender commits a sex crime the actual physical sex must be known and reported.”
“I cannot fathom the impact on a woman’s mental health to be forced to refer to her rapists with she/her pronouns in a court of law. This is so bad for women.”
“There is a lot of money in it these days. Many careers to be made and books sold and conferences spoken at. And they all peer review themselves.”
“I am already seeing this happening. I am a NHS counsellor and my colleagues have attended what I consider biased training that is not giving correct information. Allowing trans women to take prizes, jobs, sporting achievements etc. from women sets back women’s rights. Trans affirmation is a multi million dollar industry aimed at the most vulnerable in our society – children, young adults, people with ADHD or autism.”
“I used to the be a psychotherapist. Luckily, I was in private practice and then retired prior to the gender identity movement really taking hold. It would have prevented me from practicing ethically and I would have been forced to quit a career I spent decades building. The trans rights movement has made it impossible for mental health professionals to act in the best interest of their clients. For a sexual abuse victim to have to refer to someone who assaulted her with her penis is abusive, it is gaslighting, it is mind rape.”
“I feel like I overslept and woke up in 1984. Language is butchered to gaslight the masses, the children into believing lies and falsifying truth. Heartbreaking. Men in women’s prison – BARBARIC.”
“I cannot deal emotionally with all of the lies I am hearing. It is devastating. The good reputation of women is being dragged through the mud by men’s crimes being reported as women’s crimes. I feel I am living in some kind of dystopian world. I have been under secondary mental health services for many years and can no longer use these services as they are promoting this ideology very heavily. I recently went to a crisis service as I was suicidal and I was asked if I was female even though I was sitting in front of the person who was asking it. She could clearly see that I was. Secondly a couple of years ago the man who was the receptionist in my local CMHT decided he was a woman. We are now expected to refer to him as “she” even though we know he is a man. I do not do this as I don’t lie. He arrives at work wearing very sexy female stereotyped outfits. I have had experience of psychosis in the past and when I have held a belief that was deemed to be delusional, I was told that it was not true by all of the mental health care workers I came into contact with. They were attempting to bring my thinking back into line with reality. They often told me that my mind was playing tricks on me. Now I am being forced to participate in what I see as a collective delusion and if I tell them their minds are playing tricks on them, I am considered to be a bigot. How can we tell anyone who is experiencing psychosis that they are out of touch with reality and then demand that they participate in something that is not based on reality? I am concerned that children are not able to have any mental health problems they are experiencing talked about in therapeutic settings because therapists are very quick to suggest their problem is that they are really the opposite sex, hence their real issues are never dealt with. I am deeply disturbed by being forced to lie all the time and to listen to lies on the TV, in the newspapers and so on.”
“All of this is bad, but this impact on language may be the worst part. It’s erasing our ability to talk about the problems.”
“I am astonished and deeply concerned about the degree of capture in the medical establishment – I believe hardly any medics/medical researchers believe that ‘sex is a spectrum’ etc, but they do not resist because of fear of the consequences.”
“I am a woman with endometriosis who has been discriminated against due to the *specific and material* female only aspects of my disease. My disease has been unstudied and handwaved away by the medical establishment *because it is a women’s disease*. Women’s pain treated as irrelevant. Pretending like my disease isn’t a women’s disease *is not going to make men care or fund research. Yet in the past few years orgs seem to be more interested in pretending that gender games are more important than dealing with the rank misogyny of the medical system *which is the exact reason that endometriosis is so misunderstood*… yet somehow mangling statistics that used to be clear (“1 in 10 women have endometriosis”, becomes “1 in 10 people with uteruses”… even though you can have endometriosis even if your uterus has been removed… or even more inaccurate “1 in 10 people have endometriosis” ahhh no its not just random “people” who have it and also by adding in the half the population *who don’t get endometriosis* you just completely fucked your statistics, but ok) is more important than communicating accurate medical information to women, information which could change their lives.”
“No one provided therapy or assessment to my son he was basically asked how long he felt like a girl then given hormones and a waitlist for surgery. Everyone told us this was good and appropriate care and if we questioned it we were bigots who hated trans people and just didn’t want to accept that our son was actually our daughter because of transphobia, same as if he’d been gay and we refused to accept it. This is utter bullshit and we are all being failed by our health providers govt’s and NGOs.”
“I am very concerned about gender ideology being promoted and aggressively pushed in academic settings.”
“Good information on women’s sex based rights is available but only thanks to the enormous efforts by female activists who consistently get themselves on internet platforms like you tube. It’s the global gender critical feminists/lesbians who keep on doing what they do best; build networks and keep reaching out to other women/men who can see right through the gender/trans agenda. The trans activists are telling so many lies in the media, e.g. suicide and murders, that we have to be vigilant and keep calling them out with facts. Fake news and misinformation are uncontrollable and rife but providing good you tube channels where telling the truth is paramount, must be maintained.”
“Men who claim to be women are trying to disassociate from male violence, when in fact they are just as prone to be a danger to women and girls as any other males.”
“I think most people laugh at the idea that the Pharoah Hatshepsut was “really” a man (which I have seen asserted). It doesn’t matter. It does matter if we are told that there are lots of women committing sex crimes, when actually, it’s males as it always has been.”
“It really angers me when women from history, who had to masquerade as men, either because they were lesbians or to be able to work in the professions, have been labelled by the trans lobby as trans. It shows a profound lack of understanding of social history and deep disrespect of women.”
“Rape is committed by men with a penis – enough said no woman can commit this crime.”
“We are sleepwalking into an Orwellian society, but one which will be specifically disadvantageous and dangerous for women.”
“Well meaning people are blundering into completely removing rights from women and girls, by accepting misinformation without proper scrutiny.”
“Trans activists are everywhere in high places in Canadian health care, foster care, mental health. We have only one sexual assault service holding the line in Vancouver (Vancouver Rape Relief) for women only space and they’ve had their funding cut by the city government and are shunned by the unions (especially the leadership who are not democratic in polling their members’ view on gender identity ideology) continuing campaign to shut them down. Therapists and doctors who don’t agree with ‘affirming care’ keep their heads down because the government/funders will fire them at the insistence of trans activists.”
“It’s all horrendous – especially rapes and sexual assaults, but I feel just as strongly that rewriting historical fact is an Orwellian assault on reality with even bigger and wider implications. I feel the same way about altering sex on birth certificates – how was falsifying historical records like this ever allowed? There needs to be a legal requirement for a master birth certificate for every single person to be kept in a central government and police records office in case of any crime or legal dispute.”
“I am also concerned about underlying mental health conditions going unaddressed with the promotion of gender identity ideology and the enabling of narcissistic, predatory males to exploit and violate women and girls on social media and in real life.”
“The misrepresentation of information – particularly statistics relating to violence against and suicide of trans-people – is one of the hardest things to fight. The realisation that almost all transwomen keep their male genitalia and are statistically one of the safest groups in society were probably some of the most important things that turned me gender critical.”
“I’m particularly concerned for women in prison because I don’t think most people have much idea about what prisons or prisoners are actually like (I do). Many male prisoners put in an extraordinary amount of time and effort researching and exerting their perceived legal rights, for not much more reason than because they can, so the ability to identify as a woman will be like manna from heaven to the most conniving and manipulating (why on earth are they in prison if not because of dishonesty…)”
“There is already so much misinformation about women’s rights and feminism that I never thought it could get worse-UNTIL.”
“The familiar tropes about suicidal kids, abused TIMs and a homicide epidemic have been proven to be false umpteen times yet these untruths are faithfully trotted out as fact. As a criminologist, I’m extremely concerned about male crime being recorded as female. It’s currently impossible to know exactly how many sex offenders with GRCs are being held in the women’s estate and the crimes of TIMs generally recorded as female. As female sex offenders are so rare it’s already skewing the stats with a rise in female sex offences. I am dismayed by the transing of history with female pirates, shield maidens, soldiers etc. being rewritten as men as well as efforts to erase women like Storme de Larverie.”
“The recent misinformation trend is to depict men who identify as women as the most vulnerable group.”
“It seems that the trans lobby can get away with enormous amounts of hate speech against women (supported by the media such as FB and Twitter).”
“The stirring of the moral panic, which positions trans-identifying people as the ultimate victims, is part of a campaign to delegitimise critiques of the ideology and in particular to secure women’s consent, on the basis of kindness – who would want to be unkind to such a marginalised group? The airbrushing out of the harms to women is deeply misogynist.”
“My mother was physically cared for, provided intimate care for, in her last week by a man because of this ideology. She did not like it. If I’d known about it, I would have objected. Who is going to care for me, when my time comes? This is misinformation, and to challenge this is to be called a bigot and terf. No matter how justified our concerns. No matter how many facts we have. What’s the point?”
“The misinformation campaign of gender ideology has reached every level of the institutions of our society and culture–and fast. In my estimation, it has been less than a decade since these ideas and falsehoods have become enshrined in law. It’s been less than a decade since history has been rewritten about Joan of Arc being “non-binary.” It’s been less than a decade and there are already hundreds of gender clinics across the US. It’s been less than a decade and men have already invaded women’s safe spaces by claiming they’re one of us. It’s been less than a decade and crime statistics have already been rendered useless because men who think they are women are allowed to say they’re one of us, and then end up in prisons next to us. It just begs the question–who are our institutions really protecting? Why have they chosen this path? Who is going to be the person to finally says enough is enough and have it heard by the people who hold power? What injustice will women have to face next?”
“I’m concerned about information being freely available. In Canada books and speakers that question gender identity ideology or give critical information on the issues involved are being challenged, banned, and blocked.”
“I am sick of TRAs claiming that Transwomen are victims when none have been killed in this country in 3 years, 2 women a week are killed and no one cares about that.”
“I am concerned greatly that my Lesbian herstory might be re-interpreted by someone I don’t even know as “transgender”.”
“It is fuelled by social media and used to threaten and intimidate women from speaking out. I can’t speak freely on social media because of work.”
“I’ll only say this: #NotOurCrimes.”
“I’m a historian, so I’m against or concealing the facts.”
“I am concerned about all of the above and if I reported the male violence that happened to me and the guy identified as a woman I would rather go to prison than address him as a woman. Skewed crime stats damage women’s and girl’s safety and allow all the men’s rights activists to point how sexually deviant “women” are. These are not our crimes.”
“Concerns about influence of Stonewall and pharmaceutical companies.”
“I have written about a strong female figure from history. I know that when I publish this book I will be asked if I think she was trans, or people will try to trans her, because she succeeded in a traditionally masculine field. My choice then is going to be painful, unless things have shifted – I will have to tell the truth and put myself under the hammer of abuse and cancellation, or I will have to lie, or obfuscate, and lose my self-respect. As for sex crime recording/reporting, rapists and sex offenders being called ‘she’ and victims having to call them ‘she’, and rapists being put in women’s prisons – there is almost nothing that makes me angrier. It is a genuine outrage. I cannot understand how any reasonable person can go along with these lies.”
“When language is distorted, the control of who might take part in the conversation is pre-determined.”
“Re: 65 – I will not refer to a man as a woman in a legal setting. JAIL ME. I don’t care. I will not. Re: 66 – Yes – particularly vulnerable women needing intimate care and being unable to request women to do it.”
“Trans are regularly claimed to be most marginalised, at greater risk of crime, when all evidence shows they are among the safest demographic. Trans identifying serial rapists and sex offenders in women’s jails is just abhorrent. Considering most women are in for non violent crimes and already vulnerable because of abuse suffered outside of the prison, locking them up with violent men is an appalling breach of their human rights. In healthcare, women are missing out of vital screening if the word woman is not used. This has been evidenced already in cervical screening. Women who do not speak English, or know the English names for their anatomy or are just unaware that ads are aimed at them, are at a serious disadvantage.”
“Where to begin… All I can say is, where I see misinformation/lies I do my best counter or rebut them. It’s not easy.”
“The posthumous transitioning of both historical and fictional women into trans men infuriates me. Women and girls will be left with no role models at all soon. From Joan of Arc to George (from the Famous Five) all our heroines are to be stolen from us!”
“As I understand it the home office (Priti Patel) the police has said that in relation to sexual violence the police must record men’s sex rather than their so called gender. But I don’t know if this is actually being implemented yet.”
“I fear for my aged mum when her care workers come to the house. Will they send a man who demands to be called a woman, to wash her, to undress her to deal with her intimate care? She will be too scared to say anything!”
“Our rights as women are hard won and much more needs to be done. But now, I see all the work – to prioritise, develop and provide necessary resources, support, services, policies for women and girls, being trashed. Language matters – women and girls will not access female relevant and female only spaces, medical care, social and economic access and so much more. This is war on women.”
“The confusion of sex with sex role stereotypes, called gender, is making statistical accurate record keeping impossible, muddying the waters in favour of men who say they are women.”
“We don’t have religious ideology in healthcare – we should not have gender ideology either.”
“The effects of misinformation, even something “small” or long ago, can be far-reaching. Well beyond what anyone imagined. It’s where we form our sense of real and unreal, acceptable and not acceptable. Not just in laws or major conscious choices or discussions, but in the day to day, in word choice and general sense of history, in seemingly unrelated conversations, maybe in therapy for ADHD and they ask about gender presentation. And all that ends up re-enforcing gender norms, which are themselves sexism even when you can trans away from the one you don’t want. Even when you are reassured gender identity isn’t the same as gender roles, but no we can’t explain gender identity. It’s “personal”. Opacity on gender and sex is never a woman’s friend.”
“As someone with a chronic health condition I want to be able to decide who provides personal care to me if and when I need it without being referred to as a bigot.”
“It makes me want to disappear off this planet, it is too much to stomach.”
“The left engages in just as much–if not even more–science denial, gaslighting, misinformation, fake news, alternative facts, etc as the right does. It’s despicable. They don’t care about the truth when it comes to spreading their gender identity ideology.”
“This way of twisting the language is both a torture and a very elaborate way of forcing one ideology on both the ones that are pressured to speak it and those who hear it. It’s part of a massive brainwash – and I’m not one for seeing conspiracy everywhere but this one is obvious.”
“The trans “no debate” mantra has been instituted to stifle any conversations or criticisms concerning trans politics. It is a convenient means to derail discourse and has been done intentionally, in my opinion, because the arguments on the pro-trans side cannot be supported by facts or logic.”
“I will never ever conform to this ideology. They are changing and mansplaining our herstory to suit their agenda.”
“Historically women’s health has been ignored, underfunded, and under-researched because our bodies are ‘difficult’. Now we are told the resources allocated to women’s health must be shared with men. Where I live now ‘prostate health’ is included in the women’s health curriculum.”
“I feel that if women like Joan of Arc, Elizabeth I etc. are posthumously transed, the very few historic role models little girls have will be gone. I also feel that if organisations like the Guardian, BBC etc., promote “fake news” like pretending that men are women, no wonder many people don’t believe them when they tell the truth. It’s extremely dangerous to have no objective truth, but to allow everyone to believe their own facts, this is not conducive to a functioning democracy or trust in institutions and media.”
“It is so unbelievably painful to see my adopted country slide into this cult- even now when so much good prevention is available if only people would choose to read and think.”
“All this is contributing to the abuse of children, abuse of women and abuse of vulnerable men and women with mental health conditions.”
“Compelling women to use pronouns in cases of assault or rape are particularly disturbing.”
“Gender ideology should not be promoted anywhere. Period. We need studies that debunk all this nonsense, we need accurate information and scientific facts. Gender is not a tangible thing, sex is.”
“This feels like a form of brain washing. Being raped by a man, even if they present as a woman, and then having to please that man in court by pretending he’s a woman… just another additional abuse.”
“I believe data needs to be recorded accurately by sex for crimes and medical purposes. Gender identity can be recorded separately but we need accurate data to see patterns and devise policy/medical treatment effectively. I think it is a disgraceful lack of respect that women who have been abused or raped by men have to pretend they are women if their perpetrator self-IDs as such. Statistics about trans people needs to be accurate too. There must be more independent research done, not just provided by lobby groups.”
“I have taken the decision not to go to hospital. This is partly because my chronic condition (a condition that is much more common amongst women) is not understood (or even recognised) and I would find the gaslighting traumatic. But it is also because hospitals and health boards where I live are making policies courtesy of Stonewall and there are in effect no female wards, and no guarantee that any personal care or intimate procedures would be carried out by a female health professional. If I were to try to insist on being in a female-only ward and to be cared for by women only, there would be gaslighting. So at a time when I am seriously ill I would be needing to draw on reserves I don’t have to advocate for myself and defend myself from accusations of bigotry. No thank you.”
“Women and girls are being deliberately erased, excluded and discounted by this ideology. I cannot believe this is accidental. It is deeply sinister and denies us our place in the world.”
“Misinformation together with the misuse of language is what is driving this movement. And it’s been pushed by Stonewall, Mermaids, Glitter and other Trans rights groups who have captured so many institutions, universities, national government departments, local authorities etc. This ideology is like a cancer creeping through every aspect of our society.”
“I am concerned about enrolling my children in schools because of the misinformation being spread around gender and identity. I am concerned about women being written out of history and erased. I am concerned about no longer being guaranteed access to care from female medical providers.”
“This is obviously a huge problem. The lying about suicide is particularly despicable, and I know parents who have felt hostage to this.”
“If gender becomes politically or legally valued over sex, we can no longer collect statistics about women’s rights or women’s oppression. We already have a massive data gap regarding women, in every field one can imagine, but with gender instead of sex, we won’t even be able to see the gap anymore. And as data about us is erased, historic figures who dared to disobey patriarchal gender roles are declared not women after all.”
“I worry for all the immigrant women and women who have little social support who will be treated by AGPs in health care settings.”
“I see whole services being caught up – the medical profession in particular- and an absolute unwillingness to respect the GC view.”
“I was a Samaritans volunteer for a number of years. The use of false suicide statistics, and the overall presentation of suicide as a way to deal with problems go against all of the guidelines for supporting people in distress. As a volunteer, I took numerous calls from men on the trans spectrum. Some are in genuine distress, with gender being central to their identity, and they receive good support. Unfortunately, many calls are from cross dressers seeking sexual gratification (masturbating whilst talking to female volunteers). Women volunteers take calls from masturbating men on most (4 hour long) shifts. Policy and laws need to be based on facts and data, laws need to be implemented as they are written. The obfuscation and claims made by TRAs is shocking, what is more shocking though is that they have been accepted as fact – there’s no interrogation of data, no fact checking. Women’s lives and rights are being eroded on the say so of poorly informed groups who do not care about women.”
“Misinformation about sex and biology is my main concern.”
“The ideology is spreading in science, with “new findings” on sex in their pseudo scientific articles.”
“Lies are lies. To demand change to law, to practice, to teaching, to science, to language, to people’s jobs all based on disinformation, untruths, lies is the worst sort of authoritarianism.”
“I have completely lost trust in health care providers and I am not seeking the help I need because I (sic) they might think I’m a bigot.”
“The appointment of a legal male as head of a rape crisis centre who gaslights women I’m afraid we will see more of this in the name of progression.”
“Most people know too little about all the effects of gender ideology against women.”
“We need to be able to accurately describe the world, gaslighting causes mental breakdown, not feeling secure in reality causes mental breakdown. Women are being forced into cells with men and if they accurately name them as such the women are punished. Trans identified males show the same criminal patterns as other males. They are not women.”
“”Gender identity” is an ideology, it is not scientific and “gender identities” can change, which is shown e.g. by the cases of detransitioners or people who no longer identify as non-binary, but their actual sex. “Gender therapists” are trained not to look for possible reasons why someone might be uncomfortable with their sex. I consider this malpractice. I also consider it very harmful that questioning a client’s “gender identity” is considered “conversion therapy”. It’s often the opposite, since internalized homophobia or sexist views cause gender identity confusion in the first place. It should not be made illegal to question what clients with mental health problems are saying about themselves.”
“Transing the dead is a no-go. Reporting crimes committed by men as women’s crimes (like rape for example) is a no-go. That these crimes also falsify the statistics of women is horrendous. Women are mostly the victims of (sexual) violence, while men are mostly the perpetrators.”
“I’m concerned that I can’t be honest about my feelings in therapy because of the therapist gender identity views.”
“I hate the weaponization of suicide, which is incredibly manipulative. And if we’re giving this message, what is an impressionable young person (especially one who already has mental health problems) going to think when they’re seeing everywhere that the only recourse for “trans youth” being “misgendered” is suicide?”
“I am horrified that this misinformation is being pushed at children. I am so angry at all the forms that insist on knowing my “gender”. Each time I refuse and tell them I don’t have one, that this is the force that oppresses me and I will not let it label me.”
“This is utter madness. We need to call perps she if they claim to be women. I’m Germany the info on MSM is mostly pro trans though the self ID law will be an issue soon. People don’t know what it means.”
“Extremely concerned about male rapists who self id as women’s having their rape/sexual assault crimes recorded as being committed by women. Makes me so angry. Have written to MSP but he chose not to answer this point. Sickened.”
“All of these things really concern me. Politicians have got to step in and stop this. The Nolan Principles apply. Workplaces are not political projects. No to gender, no to pronouns, no to misogyny dressed up as “progress”. Enough is enough.”
“Words matter. The ability of humans to communicate using consistent and accurate language is as fundamental to our evolution as opposable thumbs and upright walking. Misinformation creates confusion, breeds distrust, undermines effective communication. It devolves us.”
“Trans ideology is based on a lie to begin with- that you can change your biological sex. A large part of the issues that are caused by trans ideology only impact women, which brings it down to women’s lived reality versus men’s delusions, and in our sexist society men’s delusions somehow hold more sway. Accurate information would probably convince many people not to support trans ideology, but it’s drowned out so quickly by lies and misrepresented statistics.”
“I am concerned about patients not receiving proper care because they have insisted, and been allowed to, on changing the sex marker in their clinical notes.”
“I believe that much of what is referred to as misinformation presented by gender identity ideology is in fact disinformation – i.e.: it is wilfully incorrect with the intention of defining the opinions and thoughts of those who come across it, especially when presented by large organisations such as Mermaids or Stonewall.”
“I am extremely concerned about university research at all levels – including undergraduate level. When students are supposed to be replicating research and then use “gender: male / female / other” (or further options) in my opinion that project shouldn’t even get past the proposal stage, unless it’s specifically looking to investigate how gender impacts results, rather than sex. The fact that it is common in some universities is utterly ridiculous and renders the project worthless, even as an academic exercise. I consider the affirmative model of therapy for children who present with issues relating to feeling out of place in their bodies as malpractice. An authority figure who is seen as a specialist in mental health telling a child that they are in the wrong body, or affirming their statement that they are sets them up to never feel ok in their body. That is nothing short of abuse. I am absolutely in favour of collecting stats about trans people in all aspects of life, including within the criminal justice system. We can’t prove or disprove anything without those stats – and neither can they. However, that research can ONLY be meaningful if sex is accurately recorded. In my opinion, as long as people are unwilling to accurately record their sex in research, then there should be no research conducted, as it’s a complete waste of time and money.”
“Science doesn’t seem to count anymore, not offending trans people and their well-meaning-but-uninformed supporters seems to trump about everything.”
“Any treatment of gender or gender ideology as concrete or legitimate is misinformation, point blank.”
“The therapy industry is captured by gender ideology and doing more harm than good.”
“For 13 years I trained at a karate dojo which had been established as a feminist school, but that went co-ed a few years before. Our self defence program prided itself on being trauma informed and safe space for survivors of violence. Then the school got a little more woke and started allowing people to use the dressing room of their choice. So we were calling ourselves trauma informed and yet requiring women who had survived sexual violence by men to share dressing and restrooms with intact adult males. When I brought this to the attention of my supervisor, she asserted that we would have to “agree to disagree” about that.”
“Every aspect of gender ideology is lies; I strongly resent being fed lies by institutions and having it demanded that I lie as well.”
“Big Pharma $ behind the trans lobby and disinformation needs to be called out, named, and displayed in a graphic flowchart. Made visible. To protect women and children.”
“I have always believed that we valued free speech. We don’t. How are Twitter and Facebook still in business when they have shut down so many women yet still publish porn?”
“If this continues down this route, I will have to organise my own suicide so I don’t end up in care, at the mercy of men. Myself and my partner have had these discussions recently because of ‘gender ideology’ and complicit authorities, that have stolen my democratic right to be involved in this discussion.”
“I am of the opinion that good data is VITAL in order to make a case for policy in organisations, lies are not good data!!!”
“It feels like we are walking on our heads hearing some of the misinformation they spread successfully. It feels a bit hopeless how many people fall for it.”
“The suicide/death toll scam is very damaging and I think it should be addressed by a major paper. It frightens younger trans-identified people and their parents and is difficult to dispel. It is also thrown around carelessly as a gotcha by actually violent trans people, mostly men (let’s say amab for the sake of understanding) to call anyone who disagrees complicit. The advertisement of medicalization as a solution, especially to kids and without being honest on the possible outcomes should be restricted somehow.”
“The therapist my child saw told my child she was trans within 20 min of her 1st appointment, and told her we are just angry and regressive parents. When we accompanied her to the second appointment (4 50min appointments total) her father and I had every one of our medical and therapeutic questions answered by pointing to the WPATH SoC printout laying on the table between us. We weren’t allowed to look in it while we were there, we had to download it and read it at home afterward. Despite WPATH being staffed by other ‘trans’ people, she violated the WPATH standard of care several times. Our persistent, and calm questions and interrogations of the increasingly unhinged claims she made ended with her claiming our daughter had threatened to kill herself to which our daughter corrected her to say that she did not say that or feel that way. She then ended the session with us saying that perhaps we could just meet in the middle and put our child on ‘puberty blockers’ since they were a way to allow her to ‘pause’. She was 19 years old at this point. The therapist was a LCSW with ZERO background in biology making medical claims. Speaking of which, she also GUARANTEED my daughter she was a great candidate to transition because she would easily pass after transition, but she needed to start ASAP to increase her passability. How is this not coercion?!”
“The trans ideology has created Orwellian 1984 talk. It turns violence against women by men into women against women and disappears male responsibility. It also leaves women in institutions, in helpless situations, prey to male violence.”
“WORDS MEAN THINGS. I know it’s a simplistic statement, but the more we cede linguistic ground, the more these men are going to take. I realize I’m not 100% in practicing this myself (comments re: my work environment, case in point) but I am gearing myself up to be more courageous about this, going forward.”
“Misinformation helps no one. Activists seem not to realise, or not to care, that they are also perpetuating poor mental health in members of their own communities when they state, for example, that trans people are far more likely to commit suicide or be murdered than non-trans people. Of course this creates serious feelings of fear and unease in trans people – it’s shocking that these false or misinterpreted statistics are so often repeated by organisations who are meant to be helping trans people…”
“The loss of accurate data should alarm anyone who cares about FACTS. It is VILE & hurtful to women to be forced to refer to a rapist as if he were female! When asked my “gender” on forms, I use the “self-describe” option and write in “My SEX is female”. It is disgusting to “trans the dead”, and it makes me angry! What’s wrong with simply “gender non-conforming”?”
“It concerns me especially that gender nonconforming children might be pushed to transition in order to conform to society’s approved gender roles.”
“If the means of gathering meaningful statistics are altered then we are losing the tools in which to fight our corner. Another example of the erasure of women. We must fight this. A miniscule percentage of women rape. These are not our crimes.”
“Most of this are concerns I have for the future. Because until now: no Self-ID law here. But some (f.e. talked into “being trans” in therapeutic, healthcare and medical sessions) do already apply. (Also f.e. some of our male prisoners do already count as “female” I think: F.e. one of the worst serial killers Germany had ever seen is legally a woman right now. I don’t know in what kind of prison this beast* is right now. *”beast” is a self-ID. So I can use this nice and fitting word in order to avoid misgendering. Although this is one of the… persons… which really gets me in seduction of misgendering very much. Because the “Beast from Beelitz” had a so typical (hypertoxic…) male style of murdering.”
“Women are being humiliated in every way imaginable.”
“It is antithetical to an open and progressive society.”
“Stonewall has positioned itself as the spokespeople for lesbians/gays while concentrating on trans issues. They are colonising gay space – a different issue entirely. I don’t want to identify as a man, goddess forbid.”
“I want everyone to stop lying! This is driving me slowly mad I think.”
“They are men I do not believe in ideology.”
“Most of this grand BS is not even being communicated to the public (at least here in Germany), so we have to live with (and educate) a large number of naives.”
“Having to call a biological man and rapist “woman” rapes my mind.”
“The amount of downright lies being put out there is breathtaking! We need to be better at pushing back on these things.”
“It’s all unbearable.”
“Only that it is wrong on so very many levels. What is the REAL government agenda for doing this???”
“Queer theory is about rendering words meaningless. Tras repeat mantras and set scripts full of misinformation, and downright lies – on the premise of, if you repeat something loudly enough, long enough then it becomes ‘the truth’!”
“It is time women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities / black and other minority ethnic communities were **interviewed / surveyed / researched / reached out to** regards all of these issues. What is blamed largely as a “white middle class” group of women being “Karens” is in fact a massive issue never spoken about publicly by many ethnic groups and minorities. In particular Muslim women have been excluded from the conversation, largely because many are not willing to speak out for fear of bringing more accusations of bigotry and prejudice onto their communities. In Australia, they no longer use women’s pools or organisations where men are allowed to have access simply by declaring they identify as women. Where there are a few loud voices within the Muslim community who are “woke” almost 98% do not agree or accept that men can be women or vice versa. But it is never spoken about.”
“I already commented about healthcare in my previous section but would like to reiterate my concerns about same sex wards, medical data etc., being impacted by hospitals and healthcare providers adopting gender ideology.”
“Chaos and disaster if this is all allowed to continue, those who will suffer the most will be the vulnerable and those in most need.”
“I no longer work with a counsellor I did for many years (as in, a counsellor for my own mental health) because she is, for lack of a better word ‘woke’ and started going down the ‘trans women are women and are one of the most marginalised groups’ path and I just felt like I was being judged. I’m really upset that we live in a world where multiple women are killed each week by men and yet we’re somehow told the LIE that TW are more victimised. It’s not fair.”
“I worked to set up Women Against Rape in the 1970s and have been horrified to see the demands of MRAs that women are as violent as men be forced to pretend to come true by listing male rapists as women. This is absolute corruption and misogyny perpetrated by the cult with the assistance of the state.”
“I have informed others about the blatant lies being spread as truth and have been disbelieved as trans supporters buy every lie they are told. Trans ideology is a LIE.”
“The training and information being taught to young doctors and health professionals is alarming. It is pitting people against each other. I have been reported to my manager for supporting SUFW by young doctors.”
“I am very concerned about being denied access to same-sex intimate care, when I’m at my most vulnerable, and about the infiltration of gender identity theory within the NHS and CQC. I have made arrangements should I be arrested for ‘hate speech’ for ‘misgendering’ and I actively question and complain media outlets mis-sex people in the news coverage. The issue lies at IPSO, OFCOM and the Equal Treatment Bench Book and ‘Stonewall Law’.”
“Both Joan of Arc and James Barry have been “claimed” as trans.”
“I think “dysphoria” (with the packaged solution of medical transition) being floated as the cause for all of our various mental woes is one of the most harmful ideas to come around in a long time.”
“If the CBC refuses to report on the real harms and crimes committed by men claiming to be trans women why are my taxes still funding this biased organization?”
“This is so dangerous. Women’s rights have been knocked back a hundred years. The rampant misogyny prevalent in society is enabled by the TRA. It is a truly frightening time for women and girls.”
“Forcing a victim to call their rapist, for example, “she” in Court is a secondary form of abuse in my opinion and likely to cause additional trauma. It will also deter victims from appearing as witnesses.”
“Having been a nurse for many years, I am afraid for the safety of female patients and staff. It took YEARS to halt the spread of mixed sex wards.”
“Very concerned about the policy capture throughout our institutions that has seen the Equality Act misrepresented and sex protections not upheld. Very concerned about forced language beyond reality. Having a statistics degree I am very concerned about data being lost or compromised by the conflation of sex and gender self id.”
“I think it suits some people’s narrative to historically ‘trans’ people rather than accepting that there have been, are, and always will be those who are ‘gender non conforming’ and this should be celebrated. The ridiculousness of creating a binary of ‘non binary’ is a nonsense. We should be pushing the boundaries of what sex role stereotypes are – not reinforcing them under the banner of the pink and blue flag. I find it misogynistic as well as inaccurate to state the mental health concerns or death rates / suicide rates of trans people as being most vulnerable / oppressed / marginalised, when you look at how many women are raped, assaulted, killed daily by men. That is an epidemic which is conveniently being swept under the carpet.”
“Re: Question 57 – I’m concerned about this partly because of the effect on the mental health of trans people & people up in questioning their “gender”. It seems appallingly caught cruel to make them believe everyone is out to harm them.”
“The entire gender identity cult is founded on a bed of lies.”
“If I was attacked by a man, I would refuse to refer to him as a woman, even if it meant going to prison!”
“It should never have been allowed to record crimes committed by men as being committed by women because of men claiming a female gender identity. They are still men.”
“Using sex as a category has been and still is extremely important for safeguarding reasons. We must continue to record data using sex categories. Women’s spaces such as changing rooms and prisons must remain for females only.”
“It’s a type of “fascism” or cultural re-education.”
“Stonewall should be made answerable for this.”
“This is a sick belief. It’s worse than Scientology and other religions. I’d rather attend an auditing session or mass over gender ideology.”
“The erasure of women historically and currently is deeply disturbing. The fact that crimes committed by men can be attributed to women whilst crimes committed against us are attributed to us, is an absolute travesty.”
“Where to start?!! The situation is a quagmire of lies, misinformation, deceit and despair. Stonewall and its accomplices need to be closed down.”
“I call the cult members “year zero children” they rewrite history to fit their narrative. We are compelled to try to remember to refer to men as she, despite our eyes and brain knowing it’s he. We are coerced to accept our patriarchal oppressor as the most oppressed whilst we have “privilege”. A whole society of women being subject to DARVO, domestic violence on a mass scale. It is a platinum free pass for every misogynist to unleash hate upon women.”
“Gender zealots need gender stereotypes otherwise how can they identify as the opposite sex.”
“I have no more words apart from, Furious, Disgusted and Terrified.”
“People can live their lives how they want but there needs to be a consistent, constant adherence to science when it comes to laws, health and education.”
“I believe that those adults suffering from gender dysphoria should be entitled to medical treatment, however, children suffering from this disorder should receive extensive counselling to determine the root of this dysphoria before being given any medical treatment such as puberty blockers. Children are deemed not mature enough to consent to permanent body altering procedures such as tattoos so why are they being put on medical pathways that can result in permanent body changes, for a psychological condition?”
“I believe Stonewall is to blame for much of the misinformation being spread.”
“I work in healthcare. Most people know this stuff is nonsense. But they don’t dare speak up. Many just keep their heads down, hope they don’t have to do the pronouns thing and hope no men are put in women’s wards/bays.”
“Women are being redefined from a single sex class oppressed because of our reproductive organs, into a mixed sex class oppressed because of feminine stereotypes. We are losing all basis to fight sexism as a sex class, because we are being dehumanized into an identity status that men can identify into at will.”
“This might be the most insidious aspect of GII, in that it deprives us of the ability to quantify our experience & our needs as women & obscures reality.”
“Recording crimes by men as having been done by women will ultimately further reduce safeguards around women and children, by painting a picture of there being little difference between the sexes in terms of their propensity for violence and sexual assault. I’m quite sure that the removal of safeguards and indeed, any restraints placed on sexual behaviour, is one of the main aims of the gender ideology movement. The corruption of statistics makes identifying taking useful steps to minimise certain crimes more difficult, and eventually impossible. Single sex spaces are such a useful step.”
“Misinformation is more properly called propaganda in this instance. Rewriting history is NEVER right.”
“Men should not be in charge of women’s DV and rape shelters. It is absolutely shocking that we can be told to reframe our trauma whilst in the middle of it.”
“Currently, there are 11 men housed in the female estate in Scotland with reports from women prisoners of sexual assaults and sexual activity. This is a travesty of justice and an affront to women.”
“I am a bit tired now. Basically I am just very bloody angry about all the lies and misinformation. It is rewriting history, and part of me finds it fascinating. How this has been done so quickly, why left wing people have been caught up so completely with the idea that trans ideology is actual reality. When the leader of the opposition says it is not right to say only women have cervix’s. It is all literally post modern rubbish. I studied post modernity and deconstructionism at University, I enjoyed learning these philosophies and using them to explore interesting ideas. Foucault’s work around how we define madness is very useful. But now, with the constant desire to keep learning new things, these philosophies have developed into creating an alternative reality. Who does this profit? men, pharmaceutical companies. And with the most power in the world, these 2 groups can destroy anything they like. The first gender studies course in the USA was funded by a trans supportive pharmaceutics company, I just can’t remember who at the moment. Almost overnight Universities stopped teaching women’s studies and began to teach gender studies instead. The whole no debate stance is because the whole gender ideology is built on a pack of weak lies. Anything that cannot be questioned or studied is not a science, it is a religion or a cult.”
“I’m especially concerned about trans-identified men in women’s prisons, and not being sure if the press is reporting the sex of a prisoner or a perpetrator of a crime correctly. We had one case where two men, one trans-identified and one not, were planning a mass attack (a bombing, I think) on a local university. They got caught before they had a chance to put their plan into action, but in every possible news story they were talked about as a man and a woman. This makes me feel like I can’t trust the media anymore. I’m also concerned about statistics concerning violence towards women and girls. My job, that I mentioned in the earlier section of the survey, deals with victims of domestic violence, who are mostly women. I think it’s extremely important that we have accurate statistics concerning these crimes.”
“We have ceased to exist as a category that is separate to men. And that means we have lost everything and nothing can be measured for sex discrimination. Referring to male criminals as women defames our entire sex. These are not our crimes. This effectively requires us to lie in court which is the most disgraceful thing, telling the truth under oath is foundational to a justice system.”
“Gender ideology is not only erasing women, but also hiding male violence against us.”
“All of this is abhorrent. This is the first time I’ve seen reference to the harm this is doing through data collection. That is one of the more insidious ways that women will suffer.”
“Hundreds of young women enrol at UIOWA because the associated teaching hospital has a genital rearrangement clinic and school fees pay the medical bills. It’s a voluntary holocaust of young women!”
“The “transing” of gender non-conforming women is basically saying to our daughters: “if you are not conforming to gender roles as defined by patriarchal societies, you are surely a man”. Misrepresenting the statistics, concealing crucial information, or flat out lying about scientific research and facts take possibility of informed consent away from dysphoric individuals and force them to a single option, transition. Changing language around male violence against women and children obfuscates the underlying issue, male pattern violence.”
“It often feels overwhelming, just the effort it takes mentally to be constantly marshalling arguments and data to refute this tsunami of malign misinformation. It’s exhausting.”
“I’m concerned all of this outrageousness is meant to distract us from some worse underlying ongoing process.”
“The healthcare piece is what appals me the most. Licensing bodies are there to protect patients from dangerous professionals, but instead they’re investigating the ones who are doing their jobs (meaning safeguarding women and children). It removes credibility from health professionals in general when the licensing body abandons its mission and ethics entirely. HCPs have a duty to report child safeguarding concerns according to current law. The licensing bodies are breaking the law by investigating nurses, etc. who report legitimate child safeguarding issues. What will happen when they try to raise concerns about child abuse not related to gender identity? Will there be a new precedent in law that allows an abusive parent to file a complaint that investigates the reporting professional?”
“They do it purposely. We have single sex spaces because it’s clear that men are the ones responsible of the most violent attacks and all of the rapes. If -a big if- the statistics change dramatically then they’ll use it as an excuse of dismissing single sex spaces. “See women are also rapists” It makes me sick. These crimes are not our crimes.”
“We have the evidence to refute so much of this misinformation, but many people refute it or even engage with it because it is promoted by ‘biased sources’. We need government and independent bodies to start promoting the correct information to give legitimacy to the arguments.”
“Accurate sex based information matters. Women should not be forced under any circumstances to validate the self perceived identity of any man. In a professional setting you are not paid to be your co workers personal mental health nurse. The affirmation only model does more harm than good.”
“The scope of misinformation and institutional capture, and groupthink is very scary, the lack of critical thinking opens the gates to totalitarianism. I see it as a symptom of a larger trend. Unfortunately.”
“It’s dangerous to women and absolutely deliberate.”
“The transgender movement is founded on lies and misinformation and has the aim to confuse and increase our feelings of uncertainty around previously widely accepted “truths.” We need to fight back with our counter truths based on logic and material reality.”
“How can it be right in a law court for a judge to insist that a woman has to call the man who assaulted her ‘she’. Why are women punished twice?”
“Every misuse of statistics is aimed at making men look better and women look worse. These false data take funding from women, give men access to women in supposedly safe places, allow men to ‘back up’ their fake claims with statistics. Can’t we just call it out for what it is – lying?”
“The worst of this is teaching our children lies, because they are the future.”
“I dislike being ‘taught’ to think and feel more agreeably about trans ideology by mental health or medical health professionals I am seeking help from, by being inundated by trans ideology at every turn on health care and professional services.”
“Prioritising gender over sex opens a door to sexual predators, paedophiles, fetishists and incels. It’s not that individual trans people pose a risk but that people who do pose a risk can use a trans identity to facilitate their access to women and children.”
“Identity ideology has been weaponised against women.”
“Without accurate statistics on sex, we cannot plan for services, talk about the real threat of male violence, or protect vulnerable women in prisons.”
“The promotion of this ideology in our schools, healthcare centers, universities and government is wholesale and shocking.”
“A blood transfusion of blood from a woman who has been pregnant can cause side-effects to a man – so a ‘transwoman’ who does not reveal that he is biologically male is jeopardising his own health & making it difficult for clinicians to care for him adequately.”
“It is absurd that biological fact is being described as hate speech. Hating the truth is not the same as saying that daring to speak it is hateful.”
“It is gaslighting – and gaslighting in a therapeutic environment by trusted therapists has the potential to be very damaging. There is a duty of care for everyone’s needs and dignity. Empathy goes both ways – and that means women’s reality must be honoured.”
“It feels overwhelming, and hard to combat even when accurate information supporting gender critical views makes the mainstream. Powerful people and organisations just double-down on denouncing it.”
“I know from experience that there is no possible way I could have referred to the person who raped as a she. Luckily I did not have to do that as my rapist did not identify as a woman but the amount of trauma it would have caused me is just too much to think about. The likelihood that a transwoman that is perpetrating rape is suffering from extreme body dysphoria is highly unlikely. Stonewall have managed to convince too many people that all men that identify as women are suffering from body dysphoria but that is absurd, it has long been known that there are men with AGP, with fetishes and some, as per the social contagion, a fun new identity and that is NOT the same as being a woman. I cannot tell you enough as a woman who has been through the utter horror, humiliation, the revulsion that is rape to have to treat your rapist as a woman knowing that there is very viable large percent chance this will increase their sexual pleasure even though to everyone else’s eyes the rape is over. It totally sickens me that this has already been allowed to happen.”
“A person’s biological sex, as registered at birth, should always be freely available as information. It must never be eradicated from record, or ignored when sex-based crimes have been committed.”
“Traumatised and or ill/injured women should have a right to be treated by women in female-only secure spaces.”
“The Australian (maybe Victorian?) Department of Health, in gathering data about the side effects of the COVID vaccine asked only about gender identity, not sex. This means data about the differences in side effects between the sexes is lost. Women experience 70% more side effects to medicines compared with men, due to medicines often being developed for men’s physiology. We won’t know how the COVID vaccine affects women due to this data not being collected.”
“Here my concern is around the loss of touch with reality and that if words can mean what anyone wants them to mean they stop having any meaning at all. We are then no longer really able to talk about the effects of sexism on women and girls.”
“Women should not be forced to lie in court and punished for not complying. It is disgraceful that activists are allowed to transition historical female figures and this misinformation is often brought up first in Internet searches.”
“So called “Stonewall law” is disturbing. They should be prosecuted for what they have done to lie to organisations. They have spread dangerous propaganda. Stonewall do not represent lesbians or Gay and Bi people. I have recently joined dozens of people in real-life-protests against stonewall and the hundreds (maybe more) who have been resisting their dangerous nonsense online. Stonewall is homophobic, anti science, anti free- speech, anti debate. In addition, they have no regard for safeguarding in their pursuit of their “gender woo woo” takeover. Come out of stonewall!”
“Stats that don’t count on sex are meaningless.”
“If giving evidence in a court of law I had to use female pronouns for a male, I would not. How can you be told to tell ‘the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth’ and then told to lie? I am on the autism spectrum and my brain could not allow me to do that. I would be in contempt. It is just a matter of time before this happens. How can lying in a court of law be sanctioned?”
“If not addressed it is going to lead to greater deterioration of women’s rights.”
“If I needed personal care and the only option was a man in a frock, I would rather manage without it. An older female relative was sexually assaulted by a male carer so I don’t trust them whether they wear trousers or a dress.”
“I am in a position where I am able to challenge disinformation but the requirements of constantly doing so are exhausting.”
“The misrepresentation of information is key to undermining the arguments that gender critical feminists make about the gender ideology. We are caught in this Orwellian maze where truth is hate crime and lies are truth. We are expected to bow to our rapists as the CEO at Edinburgh Rape Crisis centre castigates rape survivors for not enjoying and appreciating their rape experience, it is not his fantasy. What is wrong with those rape survivors? No wonder he wants to indoctrinate them to view their horrific rape experiences as a cuddling life affirming event. How can any self respecting women sitting on that management committee as trustees and buy that bullshit? The violation and abuse of women is relentless – they do not want us measuring the extent of the violence that women and girls suffer. That’s why the policy of misinformation and no debate/no dialogue is crucial to maintain the myth of so-called trans being the most oppressed, most vulnerable, most violated. That’s why women – adult human females – are repeatedly told by the media and social media to shut up or else we will punish you in ways you never imagined. The nightmare is here in our face whilst other women lecture us to be kind and compassionate towards these perpetrators and then blame us when we are assaulted, verbally abused, de-platformed, lose our jobs, lose our reputation. We need to hold onto our language and not give an inch to these despicable women haters who seek to obliterate us from the face of this earth. We are the ones who reproduce the human species yet they want us forced back into the caves, huddled, hiding and subservient to the rule of men. Gender ideology is simply men’s rights campaign. They want it all – power and control over women, full, unfettered access to women’s bodies, access to children’s bodies and minds with no protection or safeguarding controls in place, normalise the sexual exploitation and abuse of women and children, eradicate all legal standards and protocols and boundaries to ensure this can happen. Demonise the gender critical feminists so that other women can say to themselves – they are not after us. We’re safe when they in fact are not. It’s the usual menu of divide and rule. If we are not at the decision making table then we are the ones along with our children and grandchildren that are on the menu. Their appetite to exercise power and control is insatiable. There are no limits. It’s the same old story of exploitation of women and children.”
“Women who are victims of male violence and male sexual violence are not targeted because they *identify* as women, but because they are rightly identified as being female – and the implication that women are victimised because of how they dress or appear has no more basis in this narrative than it does in rape cases where women face accusations regarding what they were wearing. To see men who are accused of rape, sexual assault, possession of materials showing the abuse of children etc., *identifying* as, and having their crimes recorded as female crimes is a very low blow, given that all too often these offences are carried out on females – girls and women. I care not WHY these men identify as women, whether for a less harsh sentence or prison regime or whether as a means of explanation for their offences – it is grossly offensive to their victims and to women to have these statistics manipulated…grossly offensive to victims to have to pretend that women have male genitalia… and profoundly disturbing to think that incarcerated women have these beings in their midst with no option but to accept their presence and play along.”
“Without sounding too extreme, the re-identifying of historical figures is a little too akin to Stalinism. I don’t think I’m being dramatic. Re describing famous lesbians as trans is another way of eradicating them altogether. I’m reading Orlando, a love poem between two women. Woolf changed the sex of the protagonist to show how ridiculous it was that a woman could not inherit property – an allusion to the real loss of her lover’s ancestral home. This is not a TRANS novel!!! It is about lesbian and heterosexual love. Fantastic for the TGIs to ignore the message about inequality between the sexes over property rights because who gives a damn if a woman is made homeless.”
“Misinformation is everywhere and mainstream media is fully captured. We have to meet in secret, we do not have many women who are willing to speak publicly because of the incredible backlash, and this trans narrative goes unchallenged.”
“Authoritarianism is the new democracy. Power is being wielded by a small minority by the spread of lies and disinformation. Stats are skewed, you can only provide proof with evidence based research. That is being frozen out. Feelings take precedence over facts!”
“The GALOP research report (Bradley 2020) about trans experience of abuse is widely accepted and quoted yet Angela Wild’s (2019) research on lesbian experience of abuse is denied, ridiculed, disbelieved – although they use the same methodology (convenience sampling). This is clearly about agendas rather than research validity. It is also an information and recording problem that a group of the population are keen to be recorded as trans in some circumstances (e.g. when a victims of crime) but as a sex-based category of woman at other times (e.g. when accused of crime). Also, the thought that women may not be able to request a woman (not trans, not a man) for intimate care or examination is appalling. How will this impact on health screening of women of traditional faiths or cultures, as well as any woman who prefers a woman health or social care provider?”
“I would rather be imprisoned for mis-gendering than call a rapist a ‘she’.”
“I fear being offered personal healthcare by a person I do not consider to be a woman and not being able to object.”
“The NHS has created Rainbow Badge Assessors using Stonewall’s guidance. This is outrageous.”
“I’m concerned with the attitude of affirming at all cost with the impact of factual data. Women and children are at risk of greater abuse and they will not get the correct support. They will also be forced to accept an ideology as fact with crimes committed against them causing further stress, as the way the law will want them to see men who have committed crimes against them as women. This will have a negative impact on mental health and recovery.”
“Women being forced to call their attacker she, in court, is a new low. Trans women are men. You cannot change sex.”
“Ideology should have no place in mental or physical healthcare.”
“It is dangerous to women and girls and it is unscientific. It is a cult.”
“It is overwhelming, exhausting and relentless.”
“In the past week I have seen Storme De Laverie being referred to as a man.”
“We await the test case where a victim of rape correctly sexes her attacker against his will.”
“If I was assaulted by a trans identified male there is no way on god’s earth I would refer to them as she. It is absolutely beyond disgraceful that this is happening. This whole ideology is full of so many idiotic and shameless lies and an utter contempt for women.”
“I believe that language has to be accurate for data purposes and pretending men are women removes our ability to capture correct information on violence and sexual abuse. I’m glad the government have told police forces to record the sex of suspects. I can’t imagine the cruelty it would take to force a woman to call her rapist she and I have deep concerns for the conversion therapy legislation the government wants to force through which will cause more harm than the harm it seeks to protect us from.”
“Re: 64, this drives me absolutely insane! Any woman who was stepping out of the gender norms of her time is now transed, rather than us being able to celebrate her achievement as a woman. It takes away our herstory.”
“I am greatly concerned by the promotion of gender ideology to children in schools and other youth organisations like Guiding.”
“Sick of being asked for a gender I don’t possess on, e.g., leisure centre application forms etc., particularly when ‘sex’ is not an option on the document and it’s online so I’m unable to correct it! Equally sick of organisations which do not know the difference, including police, county councils, schools, etc.”
“Women cannot rape in UK law, so the mere suggestion that rape convictions can be recorded as women is ludicrous.”
“Misinformation is rife in the trans world and I am worried general public don’t see it as such.”
“When it comes to information, the thing that concerns me the most is the complete denial of and aggressive censorship by gender identity activists of news stories concerning detransitioners, violence against women in prisons by biological males claiming to be female, biological males inserting themselves into and making a mockery female sporting competitions etc. If we cannot have an open, nuanced discussion about these issues without it being shut down then I don’t know how we can progress from here unfortunately.”
“They tried to trans Ann Lister, the lesbians of west Yorkshire and beyond put paid to that. The blue plaque was to say gender non conforming women… it now says LESBIAN. CAFCASS omitted sex on their equality training, several emails later it was amended. A couple of examples I could give you more from my direct experience. The issue of misinformation has muddied the waters leading to some orgs not understanding legislation and implementing policies which ignore or overreach the equality act. Men in women’s prisons men in sport men in toilets.”
“If a belief such as this can be written into policy and law and given medical and legal validity, in our courts, media, hospitals and prisons, we are no longer part of a society which recognises the value of facts or the humanity of women.”
“I am concerned that instead of having a reasonable conversation, we are being constantly manipulated through made up statistics and exaggerated accounts that appeal to our emotional compassion; meanwhile dissenting voices are silenced, discredited, and vilified. Main stream media has a responsibility of providing impartial information, however it is clear that there are other interests at play… It is important to uphold freedom of speech so that all aspects can be explored and make informed decisions as a society.”
“This is another example of the erasure of women’s rights and safety.”
“Biology matters. Drugs behave differently in men and women. Diseases affect men and women differently. They don’t care what you identify as. It is so vital that we keep the actual biological sex correct on healthcare records, even if we also record gender identity as well. It will be bad for everyone if this trend continues.”
“Accurate data is a key requirement. Problems need accurate definition to allow for solutions to be defined. Service planning can only happen on the foundation of accurate data collection.”
“Q60 I am concerned self ID and the opportunity this provides to be exploited.”
“It is very worrying that the majority of the population believe that it’s just a few transsexuals, that have had surgery, without understanding the issues with self ID, or puberty blockers in teenagers.”
“There is a lot of deceit and dishonesty promulgated by the gender lobby.”
“Thank goodness for the Nolan podcasts shedding some light on this in relation to Stonewall. There should be a push for follow-up podcasts (or a TV series).”
“I am concerned that we have lost the ability to present correct information and statistics without being called transphobic and/or being threatened.”
“Was raped- never told anyone- this is the first time I’ve acknowledged it. I want my girls to be safe. I am now in floods of tears. How dare they take our daughters spaces?”
“A lot of people are going to start suffering adverse health events due to misinformation in NHS.”
“I am really angry that a tiny minority of men are able to influence policy that denies the existence of woman as an exclusive sex. That the lifelong sex based experience of a woman is denied as any man can choose to be one. It commodifies women’s sexuality.”
“Men sexual violent predators housed in the Women’s prison estate.”
“Children are being damaged by the misinformation they have access to on the internet, and also what they are being taught in schools.”
“I worry that women’s achievements in the past are being told to be because they were actually trans as if women (actual women) can’t achieve without being trans. I worry about crime stats being skewed and men in women’s prisons where women are statistically from vulnerable backgrounds (DV, abuse, mental health conditions etc.). I worry about skewing fact like in the novel 1984, old facts being sent to The Memory Hole as if they never existed/happened. Also for current women like J K Rowling being unjustly vilified, some ex HP fans pretending Daniel Radcliffe wrote the series instead of JKR… Utter lunacy.”
“The creep of GI into ‘normality’ is insidious. Awareness needs to be raised.”
“Men are rapists. I was hit-on by a cross-dresser at my rape-crisis centre and never went back. Men in dresses started to be allowed into my WOMEN’S health group. Despite that making me feel physically and mentally ill. I have been raped a lot; so much, that I now have C-PTSD. “Women’s Business” is Tribal Lore. Most cultures once respected women, and their need to gather together without men, and tap into the female-energy, which builds power. This is why Sacred Sites existed for women, while men were more nomadic. Sacred Sites and Spaces build energy for women to tap into.”
“All misinformation is dangerous. So is too little true information.”
“The rhetoric around “puberty blockers” (GnRH agonists) concerns me greatly. GnRH agonists are extremely serious drugs with heavy side effects even for the intended use of prostate cancer in old men, much less “off-label” for physically healthy children. But everyone promotes them as a “safe, harmless, reversible” “pause button”.”
“Statements such as “everyone has a gender identity” and “there are 100s of gender identities” are akin to religious beliefs and should be treated as such.”
“Misinformation around sex specifically in the medical record harms anyone who chooses to identify as Trans, and not allowing female patients the right to safe same sex wards or intimate examinations by other women is extremely worrying.”
“In particular I’m concerned about lesbian historical figures who posthumously referred to as men. Even if these figures referred to themselves as men or wore male dress, it was not a personal identity but rather the only way they could move through life in a homophobic society.”
“Rewriting history. Gaslighting. Women’s loss of hard won rights for protection. It’s a frightening time for women and girls.”
“I just cannot believe that the vast majority of people would go along with gender ideology if they understood the issue fully and that it required them to deny biological reality. Publicity is needed but the current cancel culture makes this almost impossible.”
“I’m a therapist. Governing bodies are being captured and there’s ultimately therapists being bullied and vilified for holding gc views.”
“The whole of society is colluding with the misinformation put out by the trans lobby and stonewall in particular. Govt agencies/depts stay silent at stonewalls wish for something to be law and do not question their position. It is absolutely disgusting and very frightening.”
“I’m also extremely concerned and angry that apparently all our NHS records have been changed so that the marker for “sex” has now been moved to the marker for “gender”, without our knowledge or consent. This has really serious consequences politically and also for the health of trans people, and even if it was reversed, it would mean that some of those whose sex would now be recorded as female will actually be males.”
“Gender ideology is based on lie after lie after lie – it is all so “1984” (when I read that book I was smugly complacent that it was about a dystopian world and such things could never happen in the real world – how wrong was I?) It is so obviously so misogynistic and exploitative that it shocks me that people (especially women, who are the big losers, along with vulnerable children) have not seen through it in greater numbers (like the entire population of women throughout the world!) The failure of the media to challenge this ideology shows that with few exceptions, media outlets have betrayed their obligation to keep politicians and public bodies accountable.”
“It’s unbelievable that medics and clinicians have been captured by gender ideology. I hope the memorandum of understanding will be amended – it prevents ‘talking therapists’ from doing their job of helping clients to explore the issues that underly their problems.”
“I wrote to our local PCC in Notts twice to enquire if crime is recorded by sex or gender. She has not answered. She’s a Conservative (Caroline Henry).”
“I have complained to NHS England about their misinformation after I received a survey form which did not clearly ask for m/f sex but gave five choices of gender ID instead.”
“How can we trust healthcare professionals who are prepared to lie about biology? It’s time professional organisations stood up for the truth and supported their female staff.”
“We need to know the realities of male violence to combat it. Recording male crimes- particularly sex crimes – as female crimes is nonsensical.”
“I am older and not in great health. I am very concerned about hospital wards and HCP where I may have to be treated by a man identifying as a woman, and not being allowed to refuse to be treated by him, because he self id’s as a woman.”
“This area is utterly Orwellian and chilling. The corruption of data in this way makes it impossible to accurately describe our society and patterns of behaviour as relates to men and women. It is a mechanism for rewriting history. I consider a woman being asked to refer to a male assailant as ‘she’ torture. I have experienced 2 AGP TiMs behaving sexually inappropriately in a ladies’ toilet – I felt powerless to challenge this behaviour as I felt that I would be accused of transphobia were I to do so.”
“It is downright frightening that activists are engaged in revising history and biology. It is horrifying that the medical establishment is involved in peddling lies.”
“Statistics about the suicide rate within the trans community are vastly over exaggerated.”
“That gender ideology has infiltrated evidence based practices is particularly disconcerting.”
“Sex matters in life and in reality, nowhere more evidently than in matters relating to health and safety. Many health conditions are more prominent in one sex than the other, Alzheimer’s, MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s etc to name but a few. If gender is used as a determinant, not only will the treatment of these conditions become far more difficult because research is CURRENTLY conducted on a sex specific ground, but there will be a severe downturn in the health of both men and women.”
“This entire section scares me. There is so much wrong with all of this. We are erasing women and girls from history, law, stats, justice etc.”
“Yes, the Online Safety Bill will make all this far worse, because there will be clamp downs on ‘misinformation’ online and the people in charge of this will be Ofcom, advised by an unknown group of experts ha ha ha. Ofcom have been in the grip of Stonewall, and the ‘experts’ who are likely to advise them, are in fact, (I know this from my work), young, woke, semi-educated academics from incredibly left wing institutions who are likely to reinforce all this in how the internet is managed in the UK.”
“As a rape survivor, the idea of having to call my rapist a woman is horrifying. Stealing my language from me when I’m on the stand would make me feel like I was lying under oath. It’s a mental/emotional rape being forced on us by the law.”
“Words have been inverted from their true meaning to confuse and gaslight us. It is concerning so many have swallowed the lies.”
“I’m beyond concerned, I’m angry, very angry, and also frustrated, discouraged that at least in “progressive” or “liberal”, “left-leaning” circles so few seem to care. It’s so demoralizing.”
“Crimes of paedophilia committed by MEN pretending to be women are now being recorded as being committed by WOMEN. How is this accurate?”
“Being kind doesn’t change material realities.”
“It should be unlawful to not register the sex of offenders… if a person identifies as a trans woman then their crime should be both registered by their sex and their trans identity and then we can truly identify the criminal profile of trans women.”
“Women are being silenced, erased from history and denied the sex based protections that we have fought long and hard to achieve. Women are being turned into a gender stereotype and our humanity denied.”
“Gender ideology should not replace what is written in law under the Equality Act 2010.”
“It totally re writes reality, its disorientating and frightening.”
“We really need to get this out into the open and have normal people- outside twitter etc.- understand what is being said. Not just in relation to suicide/violence stats but also the very fact that nearly 90% of trans identifying men do not actually transition and retain their genitals. This is what the danger for women and girls is about in relation to safe spaces. Men are already in the female prison estate. Girls have been raped in school toilets in the US. Women’s sport is in real danger. Gender ideology has to be challenged.”
“I am devastated that victims of rape are having to describe their assailants as if they are the opposite sex. I can’t believe this is deemed acceptable.”
“Yes, I am worried about gender affirming mental health care professionals being pressured into affirming sociopathic/psychopathic males who are misogynists and/or outright abusers of biological females, and children. They become the handmaidens of the abusers by legitimising the abuse and the violence.”
“The constant need to refute the lies is wearing. The lies put people at risk – medically, in female only spaces, even in the courts!”
“I think we are being forced to say what we know is not true. If we do not comply we will be punished.”
“The weaving of transgender ideology into social and legal policy procedures is highly damaging and manipulative as it denies the material reality of the sexes, and the stratified social differences between men and women, disseminates lies that relate to this, in a manner that is totalitarian.”
“Biological sex is immutable and needs to be treated as fact.”
“Recording male sex offenders as female affects data and policies needed to safe guard women and children. It feeds into the men’s rights activists who love to tell us they are victims too. Using a rapist’s preferred pronoun and allowing males to be housed in female prisons is unbelievable and we will look back on this for the misogyny it is in the future.”
“I work in CAMHS…and the gender identity is heavily promoted, so I would not seek their help for my daughter because I don’t think cutting her breasts off will help her overcome the trauma of sexual assault.”
“Sex matters – especially in clinical/healthcare settings.”
“Trans ideology is very damaging to women’s rights.”
“As a therapist I am deeply worried by the requirement that we do not explore underlying issues, Co-morbidities or even repressed homosexuality with young people questioning their gender. I’m being threatened with termination of my professional accreditation for raising concerns about this.”
“The duty of a therapist is to enquire and seek the underlying issues that are beneath any presenting problem, yet with trans issues the affirmation model prevents therapists from their ethical duty towards their clients.”
“Women’s sex-based rights are human rights and protected by legislation. It is men who commit crimes of violence and they commit them against women.”
“I cannot fathom how so many institutions have just thrown out all science based facts and even common sense over this philosophical theory. Without facts and statistics, how can we have any kind of healthcare, laws, and safety. We are becoming an amorphous, indeterminate mass of humanity. It demeans us all.”
“It is particularly pernicious to have rapists referred to as women. That’s Orwellian.”
“In the NHS sex markers on records have been changed which puts people in direct harm. Women in prisons are being housed with rapists. If they complain they may have time added on to their sentence.”
“The media must stop misrepresenting crimes by trans identified males, as those committed by women.”
“All sex based rights are based on the biological fact of what a woman (or man) is. If these categories become self id then there will be no way to access legal sex based rights protections. There’s no way for a woman to take an employer to a tribunal for sex based discrimination if all the men unfairly promoted above her identify as women. Take away what it means to be a woman and women can no longer meet to discuss how to address women’s issues. Misinformation is meant to obfuscate and take away our voice and our access to legal sex based rights protections. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and rape it’s especially offensive and terrifying that a man’s right to be called she takes higher priority than the victim he rapes, assaults or murders. Without accurate terminology, in line with our legal terminology, data is meaningless. We can’t evaluate the epidemic of male violence and terrorism against women and girls if we can’t quantify it. And we can’t quantify it if rapists who say they are women are represented as such in the data. We can’t take action to protect women from male violence, or for men to challenge other men on their violence and misogyny, if we can’t evaluate the problem in the first place. Accurate data recording matters massively.”
“Making women refer to men as women is compelled speech and compelled lying. It takes extra effort to do this. To make this happen to women who have been abused/raped is further abuse of that woman. She is being forced to lie despite being under oath. She is victim and the abuser is continuing to exert power over her, sanctioned and encouraged by the legal system. It is WRONG.”
“I think some Trans Rights Activists are using the same tactics men have used over women since time began. The bullying, gaslighting, undermining of women, their bodies and their minds. Misogyny. I want trans people to feel safe and accepted, to be who they are, to not be discriminated against. Women and womanhood do not have to be eradicated to achieve this aim.”
“I think that many people are basing their opinions on this misinformation, and it makes it difficult to discuss issues.”
“The way that Stonewall has captured almost every British institution is shocking. We need a major public enquiry.”
“The whole gender ideology is based on nothing more than lies. It needs destroying root and branch wherever it’s found. It’s dangerous in that it not only seeks to destroy women as a sex class, but opens the way to removing safeguarding from children. To me it’s an ideology that is already opening doors to opportunities for the perverts, predators and paedophiles.”
“Sex cannot be altered. It’s not something that we choose. People are entitled to dress how they like, call themselves what they like, but they cannot reasonably expect the rest of us to buy into their fantasies. Only men can rape because only men have penises. And those identifying as ‘transwomen’ have similar rates of conviction for violence and sexual assault as the male population generally. And it’s appalling that the rights, safety and privacy of women patients should be compromised to accommodate the fantasies of ‘transwomen’. Most people, men and women, don’t mind too much who treats them or cares for them, but the right to same-sex care should be acknowledged. But there are wider implications – disease is often experienced in different ways by men and women, exhibits different patterns, aetiology and outcomes, and of course some illnesses are confined to one sex or the other. This needs to be taken into account when planning healthcare or in medical research. Recording ‘preferred gender’ rather than ‘sex’ means that researching and delivering healthcare is hampered.”
“It’s abhorrent. The misinformation re suicide stats is not only untrue but emotional blackmail and also used to terrorise young teens/kids/their parents into believing suicide is an imminent threat/reality. It goes against all rules on suicide reporting. We need to seriously hold a public discussion re the different groups that trans refers to, with all misinformation debunked. Those very few with true gender dysphoria are a very different and actually vulnerable cohort to the AGP male transitioners and sex offenders with paraphilias (cross dressing is much higher in this demographic) The skewing of crime stats and the pushing for children to consent to procedures they can’t fully understand is particularly worrying and is leading to dismantling of safeguards around children and vulnerable people. Always bringing the debate back to we just want to wee is also gaslighting, mixed sex spaces are dangerous for females and this is being pushed as women being mean. The wider picture is that women now have no single sex spaces in refuges, hospital wards, hostels, halfway homes, prisons, rape support groups, health groups etc. This is rarely mentioned in mainstream media ditto the obscuring of language. Many think a transwoman is a female id-ing as a man, the use of a gap between trans and woman perpetuates this. Many people still believe transwoman refers to transexual and have no idea most males have no surgery at all and those who do the majority is facial surgery and/or silicone breast implants. Many transmen however are pushed towards surgery, binders, etc. We need to make it absolutely clear how different these groups are to the public – no waffle, no falsified stats, no leaving untrue, unchallenged in interviews.”
“Within gender ideology there are screeds of misinformation which makes it quite difficult to pin-down any straightforward, factual information. The information which has been collected over the years relating to biological differences between men and women are ignored, putting women & girls in danger in so many different settings. It all seems to boil down to one thing – please don’t offend some people (men living in fantasy world of make-believe) by stating reality. We have to treat them with kid gloves because they are so discriminated in society. No! I will not be kind to these predators! No, I will not allow them to invade women’s spaces rights and language. Women are not a costume you can put on and take off. We are not a collection of body parts. Lesbians are same-sex attracted.”
“I haven’t seen a doctor in years because I won’t pretend I have pronouns or a gender. I only have a sex: it was determined at conception. If my doctor doesn’t know that, why would I trust her to touch me or diagnose me?”
“This misinformation is destroying our society.”
“Looking at news reports where a “woman” has committed a crime and everyone can see from the photo that the person is clearly male is infuriating, makes you feel powerless.”
“I believe gender extremists are erasing the diversity of males and females. Gender non conforming figures are now just trans in their eyes.”
“Doctors who are supposed to help us are HARMING us. As a detransitioned woman it’s an extremely hard line to walk; people think I must be non-binary.”
“Stonewall…a charity AND a political lobby group? The Nolan podcast has exposed this.”
“As a young woman I was imprisoned for a time. During that time I was groomed into sex by my male Personal Officer. That was able to happen in a time where there were no transwomen about. It scares me how trapped women would be when they’re already at risk of sexual assault by staff.”
“Language is powerful. The words we use define our reality. Calling men who commit crimes, women, does grave harm to women.”
“This belief system is perniciously spreading. I went down the rabbit hole of gender identity when we were entering “gender identity” as a data element collected in our healthcare system, and I wanted to understand more. I had no idea that sex was being replaced by gender identity. But the campaign has rapidly intensified at work as key leaders are transactivists and the law reinforces the ideology.”
“This is state funded propaganda against women, and as such makes me feel really frightened, because it seems that the protections and rights we still have could be lost very easily and quickly. It’s been genuinely shocking to realise I am more marginalised than I had thought.”
“The amount of lies told is terrifying. This is narcissism, where the truth is twisted to get many feeling sorry for those who dare to call themselves ‘persecuted’, when they are, in reality, some of the most terrible persecutors I’ve ever come across, desperate to ruin the lives/careers/reputations of others at every turn. The threats of suicide and misleading numbers are as low as they can go, but they don’t care. ANYTHING that gets others on their side is used. Reminds me of how Hitler worked. The indoctrination of children concerns me deeply. ‘give me the child until he is seven, and I will show you the man’…I’m also massively concerned that paedophiles, predators and perverts are all over Transworld, along with the woman-hating Incels/Male Rights Activists and Misogynists. NEVER have I been so fearful of having to go into hospital either, in case males are in our wards…I’d kick up hell, were I well enough to do so, if that ever happened to me, as it is an invasion of my privacy/dignity and safety as a woman…and my rights too, of course. All SO stressful.”
“Public information must be factual or chaos ensues. If we are to properly protect people and tackle abuse, violence and criminal behaviour, we must understand the facts of exactly who the perpetrator and who the victim is, what characteristics….”
“Our EDI rep recently misrepresented the EA 2010 by substituting “sex” with “gender”. A couple of years ago I would have challenged this but she’s now been promoted and is likely to be made my line manager. I can’t afford to lose my job and it is making me ill to have to sit and listen to this nonsense and know that I would be the one punished for stating reality.”
“As a psychotherapist I am aghast at the professional bodies like BPS buying into transextremist doctrine to the detriment of children and young people with mental health issues and/ autistic spectrum characteristics.”
“Just that it has now reached the point and extended into so many areas that it is difficult not to be filled with despair. Every day is a battle for me.”
“Some transitioned/transitioning people believe they have actually changed sex. How can this expectation be consistent with the principles of informed consent? Clinicians and health services must do more to dispel this false belief.”
“We are moving from a world that recognised material reality is important (for medicine, legal rights etc) to prioritising feelings. This means we have no good data on which to base decisions, or to plan actions to improve e.g. the life chances of girls. It also means no-one can believe anything they read anymore. 436 female rapists in the last 10 years? I don’t believe you. An increase in females committing sex crimes? I don’t believe you. If governments and the media can openly lie about something so clearly wrong, then how can we believe anything they say about anything else?”
“Although concerned about these things I won’t be compelled to use certain language. If referring to a (male bodied) trans rapist as ‘he’ got me in trouble then I would take the risk.”
“It’s all just illogical rubbish, and lies. When presented with facts or the most sensitive attempts to refute lies people just double down or repeat mantras like trans women are women or no debate. Because my daughter could easily have been forced down a completely wrong path I feel even more aware of the falsehoods and harm done.”
“I am concerned that fact-based, observable reality is being replaced by delusions supported by legal fictions.”
“I have been both raped and gaslighted. I find all of these instances very triggering.”
“I am sick of the lies. I am frightened by the ‘forced’ lies. I am angry at the bullying and I worry that things will become even worse for women.”
“The pressure to accept ‘Trans Women are Women’ is designed to mask the obnoxiousness of what they really are and what they want: the entire driver for this ‘biological sex is a concept’ ideology is driven by male sexual desire – either as a fetish or to access women’s spaces.”
“So many lies are being told where women are expected to agree on pain of being ‘cancelled’ or losing their livelihood. I’m so tired of hearing the lies and disinformation and having people accept them without asking questions or referring to biological reality as their touchstone in this mess.”
“Knowledge is power and a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. ” cliches which do fit. The powerful hold enough knowledge. The less informed are being manipulated by what will come to be recognised as the biggest scandal of our time. How can the average busy, stressed parent find out all the pros and the cons if there’s only one side of the story?”
“It’s offensive & unbelievable that anyone who has been raped/assaulted/attacked should be forced to refer to their attacker in a way that falsifies reality. How can we expect the judicial system to protect anyone if victims are forced to take part in the farce. In UK law rape can only be committed with a penis. If you reject, as most people do, that the ridiculous notion of the female penis exists, then how can you refer to your male rapist with female pronouns? It’s gaslighting on steroids & dystopian. I would refuse & face the consequences, but as so few sex crimes ever get as far as court it’s unlikely to be an issue.”
“I’ll go to jail rather than to call a man who rapes me a woman. Reality is being warped by the misinformation being spread, on purpose, and with evil goals. Yes, they are indeed evil.”
“I actually can’t believe that a victim of rape has to address her attacker by whatever pronoun they choose! I also can’t understand why a crime committed by a man can suddenly become a crime committed by a woman if he decides he’s a woman!”
“It’s scary how far misinformation travels and is wielded by gender ideology adherents like a cudgel. The Marsha P Johnson myths (about being a trans woman, being the first at stonewall etc.) is one that refuses to die despite the fact that Marsha called herself a gay man in an interview before her death. Also tons of misinformation surrounding the aftereffects of puberty blockers & surgery, males participating in female sports, the frequency of trans-identified male violence against women in spaces like prisons and online, neurology of men vs women etc. I also feel very very strongly about men’s crimes being misrepresented as women’s crimes both statistically and in the media.”
“Historic female figures in traditionally masculine roles or living in disguise as men to receive benefits in a sexist society need to be presented accurately; that is as women who did certain things. They ought to be celebrated for their resilience and ingenuity, for achieving what once was considered impossible for their class. For many girls around the world, lacking examples from within their own nation/ demographic, this gives them inspiration that they can achieve something, despite the countless barriers. It also highlights which barriers are legit and which are manmade, and helps them to aspire into improving their environment for the girls who come after them. Amelia Earhart was not a man. She was a pilot and inspiration for girls to also become a pilot. The night witches was not composed of men.”
“I would go to prison if required rather than lie under oath. I have made this position clear. I feel these situations add to the lack of willingness to report crimes and also it undermines the data needed to prove resources are needed to tackle male crime.”
“If I had to refer to a male as ‘she’ whilst under oath in a court I would be committing perjury. Juries seeing rape victims lying about their assailant’s sex will likely disbelieve/distrust their evidence on other points. I would.”
“When I was younger, I was extremely open to how anyone wanted to present and I really did believe transwomen could not be violent but I was introduced to a transwomen (self identified transbian) by my friend and was sexually assaulted by her while at my birthday party. I felt she used her status as a transperson to seem less threatening to get closer to me. Afterwards, she proceeded to stalk me online when I wouldn’t respond to her advances, even when I made it clear to her she was wrong for what she did. Telling people transwomen can do no harm, and are victims above all else puts them in a position where they can abuse women, especially lesbians and I’m genuinely worried for people who don’t realize this. I am even more worried for women who have to tell themselves they need to accept transbians or they’re transphobic.”
“I have lived in supported housing where a full male bodied trans woman behaved in a way that would have seen him thrown out of a pub. But we had to accept him as a woman. He would expose his genitals, intimidate, threaten and bully female members of staff, but not males. Many women there had histories of trauma and abuse and he would insist on joining our women’s group. I believe this was a pure case of AGP. To protect other residents and staff the manager threatened to shut the project down if this man was not rehoused.”
“Exhausting. We’re all too exhausted to notice how we’ve been erased, and male violence has been whitewashed.”
“It’s shocking how we can no longer use the correct names for people & things without being accused of transphobia & bigotry, if we refuse to go along with this language mangling.”
“This is my biggest area of concern because it fuels the others.”
“The misinformation around gender identity ideology is deliberately being disseminated by organisations and political bodies to push through the dismantling of women’s identity and sex based rights.”
“These language paradoxes are evidence of mostly men taking over the spheres of women’s lives. This is a “colonization process” inflicted by men over women which is going into new areas of oppression and delusional ideas, which are however supported by the neo-liberal status quo.”
“This is hard going… yes I’m concerned about the demotion/ eradication of women as a sex-based class. The one that upsets me particularly is women in a court of law, under oath being forced to call the person who has raped them with his penis, ‘she’: it’s an outrage, a humiliation for the woman who has to defer to their assailant’s feelings and be forced to lie. It’s perverted and abusive.”
“Lies! Lies! Lies! Reality matters! We are living in an incredibly misogynistic time.”
“(1) The statistics on crimes against trans people are extremely sad. Trans people should be safe, they are human beings! But relevant information is often missing (e.g. that those murdered were working as prostitutes, an incredibly high-risk line of work). Moreover these figures are given enormous publicity compared to the statistics regarding violent crimes against women. (2) Language: I am horrified that a woman was forced to refer to her rapist as “she” even when describing what her attacker had done to her with ‘her penis’. I am horrified that newspapers are carrying headlines of the kind: ‘Women found in possession of thousands of child porn images’, ‘Woman murders her girlfriend’, when it is a man who did these things. This is skewing the long-established evidence that about 90% of violent crimes are committed by men, and about 99% of sex criminals are men. (3) As for men in women’s prisons… there is a hill I will die on.”
“If someone is found dead and ID not possible, DNA is taken, how will this align with the police force only recording Gender in terms of identity? If someone goes into hospital unrecognizable, sex matters for anatomy, pharmaceutically and in many other ways, gender doesn’t. Gender is fluid apparently but sex is not. Sex is biological, immutable, and independently verifiable. Recording gender endangers people, is inaccurate and skews sexed data.”
“Recording gender instead of sex in crime statistics is particularly egregious. It means we cannot tackle current issues if we don’t know the true demographics of both victims or perpetrators. And we are wrecking the data for future generations.”
“It is very disturbing that health organisations are erasing the word “woman” from their literature. This has a direct impact on patients with learning disabilities or those who don’t have English as their first language. Women’s health was already ignored and this ideology is making the problem worse.”
“It’s never ending, just as you think a new low is reached, it gets worse.”
“Soon enough, we won’t even be able to track the extent of this problem because of the obfuscation of information.”
“Stats distorted so these men can claim women rape too! It’s all a lie!!”
“I am not a ‘uterus haver’, this is hate speech in my view. What are we teaching children if we tolerate this? If a person decides to transition then that is fine, live as you like as long as you don’t hurt anyone but do not gaslight. Do not go into women’s changing rooms and dress up in women’s underwear if you have a male body. That women have to endure self ID trans women into prisons, schools, swimming pools, hospital spaces, rape crisis units, domestic violence units, intimate grooming, sports and so on, is a terribly unsafe thing. I have read that more than half of male sex offenders now identify as women. Woman is not an identity, it cannot be chosen or assigned. Do not ask me my fecking pronouns and I don’t want to know what yours are either. If there is no sex, there is no sexism. It is terrible that male crime is being recorded as women’s crime and vulnerable people are put at risk. If the medical world cannot say ‘man’ or ‘woman’ then the world is truly bonkers, unsafe and threatening. To reduce a person to a collection of body parts or sex organs is erasure, it is inhumane.”
“Not reporting sex means we don’t have an accurate picture and can’t plan services accordingly. This is particularly worrying in healthcare and legal settings. I think having to refer to rapists as she is particularly repugnant, especially as rape in the UK can only be carried out by males.”
“This is a campaign of severe harm to teenage girls in particular to break them and make them easier to control. Once they have destroyed the young women, the next generation of women will pose no “threat” to the patriarchy, unlike the generation before.”
“The current state of the world regarding these issues make me sad to be alive, if I’m being honest. There’s no justice for women.”
“It’s all wrong and it’s all damaging to women’s and children’s mental health. We must suffer all this to give men what they want – as always – a story as old as time. I see our rights and language being taken away, an ideology being forced on us and even being subjected to forced speech and they are trying to make us believe it so they can even force our thoughts along the path that they want us to think. it makes me feel powerless, distraught and like I am grieving something. But then it also makes me angry and with every blow it makes me want to get back up again and do something to fight back. NO, NO MEANS NO.”
“I cannot work in a clinical environment – perhaps with the elderly. Every treatment center wants me to affirm children and teens. I will NOT use the affirmation model as it is currently being interpreted. (Affirm in first visit, referral to clinic for PB’s.) I am being asked as a social worker to do what I consider unethical. I will NOT do that.”
“I genuinely don’t understand how having to call male rapists she in court doesn’t go against perjury laws.”
“Bodies like the BBC should be held to account for repeatedly misinforming listeners regarding statistics in respect of trans and gender issues, for example trans suicide rates.”
“I am a member of the BACP and extremely concerned about the complicity of such bodies in the harm of young people confused about gender. There is no way to be heard within such organisations, and no way to have a voice to convey concerns and research that is counter to their narrative. I envisage some of us ending up in prison should they be successful in lobbying against explorative therapy.”
“My healthcare provider recently added a sexuality and gender care portal which funnels people to transition services. I do not like having to navigate misinformation and pseudoscience about gender when I am seeking intimate care. My partner was abused in a relationship with a transgender identified male (transwoman) before I met her and she has never been able to seek therapy or help for this experience as she is terrified that people might insist on viewing this horrid person as a woman.”
“I am angry at women being forced to refer to men as female in any context but particularly in law.”
“Charitable organisations have captured the gender ideology high ground. The public are frightened to object to this sinister credo because the TRAs have fully colonised any form of debate on the matter and outlawed all who have a right to disagree. It’s a form of social terrorism.”
“The gender ideology is compelling people to lie. There is no rational discussion or rational behaviour. There has never been a public debate with full transparency because the gender believers know they have no real facts to support their beliefs. The transgender ideology has used propaganda to spread their lies.”
“I am appalled that so called intelligent people have bought into the most preposterous ideology and fear that women will be stripped of all autonomy and rights to dignity, respect and privacy as a result of the wholesale disregard of the Equality Act and the law as it stands, I also fear that once the Conservative Party is captured like the others women will be politically homeless and have no hope of ever addressing this.”
“Words change meaning. Women is erased but man stays the same. Information is unclear at best and mostly plain wrong. When I find evidence based quality information it upholds original interpretation & usage of language. Gender ideology has no ethical reliable evidence base.”
“Disinformation is always a concern as it impacts us all, but I am especially worried about the effect that it has on the parents & children caught up in this repugnant ideology whose decisions about gender medicalization are informed by what can only be described as lies & propaganda.”
“Ending the lies and gaslighting is essential or progress on the other issues becomes impossible.”
“I would refuse to use female words for a male assailant so might be jailed. I used to work as a therapist. I would like to do so again but UK professional bodies require compliance to non exploratory approaches, which I follow, so I cannot continue in my profession – I work to explore their situation with each of my patients, “without memory or desire” (Bion) with no prescribed outcome.”
“I have been in and out of hospital recently and the rainbow lanyards and badges are actually scary.”
“I’m training to be a psychotherapist and I’m worried I won’t be able to practice in accordance with my ethics.”
“A very vocal minority are dominating and saying ‘no debate’ on this issue. They are using fake science and including people with DSDs to back up their arguments. Many, including politicians, are being misled as they don’t understand and don’t check to find out the truth. People are being lied to like never before.”
“The world is making less and less sense each day: crime figures, sexual predators, medical conditions all mis-reported”.
“It is a disgrace to our society that men are permitted to access women’s hospital wards and staff be told to treat anyone who raises an issue as racist. The situation in prisons places women in serious danger and in my opinion breaches their human rights. Rapist’s being called her makes me incandescent with rage as do men in rape crisis settings as in Scotland.”
“Again, this is the erasure of adult human females and it is beyond wrong, it’s illogical!”
“Clearly giving malevolent control to men at the cost of women. Sexual predators dream.”
“My perpetrator used threats of suicide in an attempt to control me. I therefore find the way threats of suicide are used to restrict women’s ability to express their experiences of a situation. This is exactly what happened to me. It was extremely hard to hold on to my right to have my own experience of reality during this abuse. I therefore find the way this movement uses threats of suicide to silence particularly triggering.”
“There is absolutely no point in collecting statistics that aren’t accurate or meaningful. Transing the dead just sells the idea that if someone did something interesting that definitely means they’re not a woman. Sexist.”
“As an autistic adult who received a late diagnosis in my mid-twenties, I am very concerned for young autistic girls who seek support for gender dysphoria and are affirmed in their beliefs, rather than having these beliefs investigated by exploratory talk therapy.”
“It may seem mad, but this isn’t all online. In real life, a friend told me that I shouldn’t watch the “transphobic” TV show Gentleman Jack because the lead character (historically a proud lesbian) was “actually a closeted trans man”. This kind of misogynistic misinformation is not uncommon among younger people.”
“In my role (NHS) providing data on cancer incidence, I have already been told to change sex of patients to “the gender they identify as.” This is without a GRC – CHI number is evidence of this. No option in database to include both sex and gender therefore sex being recorded incorrectly. This will have long term implications on male & female statistics of cancer if self ID becomes law.”
“The thing is. The general public don’t buy it. When I first mentioned it to my (73 year old) mum, she said: The thing is, they (TW) are much bigger and stronger than us. Isn’t that the truth.”
“This warps and distorts reality for women and also degrades the language in which candid conversations can be held.”
“Bullshit organisations in school to teach diversity. ‘Sex is a spectrum’ and other such tripe.”
“Nobody can get funding to research ‘trans’ issues so I don’t know how all these stats are arrived at. They tell fibs which sway impressionable people who don’t know their veracity.”
“Data matters, esp. in the area of sex-aggregated data which will impact on women’s services, and how they access them or how they are funded (defunded). No woman will feel safe if they have no means of ascertaining if their Health Care Professional (Female) is actually a male-bodied person – in gynaecology, personal care of elders and disabled family members etc. Or trusting their daughters to Brownie camps where the leader could be a male who sleeps over with them, or a Girl Guide sleeping in the same tent might actually be a boy. If we have no grounds for What Is the Truth, then everything is out of the window – anything goes. And most importantly, all safeguarding goes. And ours is the era in which Safeguarding is meant to be coming of age and be paramount in every single thing – yet, Gender Ideology throws this out.”
“This has a detrimental impact on my mental health and leaves me feeling dehumanised and worthless.”
“A male who rapes a woman is the ultimate proof he is a male. Pronouns are one more way he exerts power over her, and is demanded if he is a woman for 1 day. Obscene.”
“Transing the dead is abhorrent! Having to call your abuser “she” when they committed a crime & still have a penis, is gaslighting & abhorrent. I’m utterly disgusted by all of this!”
“It is lies and it is dangerous and this is a misogynistic movement.”
“As a recreational athlete, I am deeply concerned about trans women competing with women in sports, including my sport. Many people think that transitioned males have no athletic advantage, and this is clearly false. Sex segregated sport not about “inclusion”.”
“It’s undemocratic and authoritarian: lost trust in all authorities.”
“Truth and honesty are the basis for morality. How can our society evolve towards a positive future for all men and women when we can’t speak about what is real.”
“BBC poor at impartiality.”
“People used to understand that sex-change was a fantasy. Too many now think that transition literally changes one’s sex. This misinformation is being taught to children, and they will grow up not understanding what’s before their eyes.”
“As someone who has survived a suicide attempt I find it abominable that any suicide statistics are used in negotiations for healthcare treatment or civil rights let alone false suicide stats. Suicide is an incredibly complex and personal issue which even experienced mental health professionals fail to fully understand.”
“I’m a scientist so very much opposed to false information being spread, and am against misinterpretation or misrepresentation of research.”
“Traumatized victims of male violence being forced to respect their abuser? Young children being told that they need to call the big man in a dress who raped them, a woman? Crime stats recording increased female crime, because actually they are men. Recording men’s crimes as women’s seeks to hide the actual issues. The issue of male violence then isn’t accurately recorded and nobody can be held accountable or expected to do anything to improve it. It you don’t measure it accurately, you cannot identify or tackle it. That applies to all equality issues based on sexual oppression. Pay gap, sex crime, DV etc .Women are possessions again. We are worthless to society.”
“I work as a History and English tutor – I have always tried to use the terms “sex” and “gender” in their correct terms. I have found that many students are confused and thus unable to fully grasp what has gone on in the past. It is a mess.”
“Crime stats, health data and research is being destroyed by this ideology.”
“As a woman with a DSD, I am also very worried about the misinformation about our medical conditions being used to further gender identity ideology.”
“Health services should focus on health. They are currently peddling lies. You can’t trust a health service that ignores biology.”
“We seem to be a culture where lying is commonplace, even the government does it with impunity. The science denial involved in replacing sex by gender is breathtaking. But it’s the enforcement that really scares me – believe what we say or else! Information in sex inequality is vital for women who are trying to fight oppression of all kinds from male violence to economic inequality. The use of language is fundamental and the attempts to take away our rights to use and define the word woman etc. will have devastating consequences if encoded in law. Let alone what it does to women’s sense of themselves and their power.”
“I am very angry that the word woman has been removed from much healthcare literature. It is highly offensive to be referred to as a cervix haver or menstruater, birthing parent or chest feeder. Because a minority of men “feel” this is not inclusive. Woman have not been put on this earth to validate men who want to dress up as women.”
“The use of suicide threats is a classic abuser tactic, but it’s also putting vulnerable teenagers at risk from social contagion. I almost feel like they wish more kids would commit suicide so they’d get more traction from this tactic.”
“I think it’s time for people who have the greatest influence on society need to submit to explaining the views they hold and why and be challenged by similarly positioned people with opposing views. I don’t see how this fissure can be mended otherwise. When I have spoken to otherwise intelligent, empathetic, politically aware people (particularly women), it has become more apparent that their adamant support of intellectually indefensible positions are usually derived from the experience often of only one ‘trans/non-binary’ friend and their espousal of GI is mistakenly enacted out of a sense of loyalty.”
“So much if this comes from orgs contracting out their ‘equality/diversity’ training to external agencies e.g. Stonewall.”
“Crime stats for public policy is extremely worrying.”
“Really worried about misinterpretation of the law as applies to schools particularly. We are sacrificing a generation of girls here.”
“This is the lie that gives the whole ideology purchase in society. Once we pretend that men are women at the institutional level, all women’s rights to safety and dignity are lost. If male sex offending is recorded as women’s crimes, then the need for women’s safe spaces is undermined because the stats will show that “women offend at the same rate as men”. For women with dementia or other mental health condition in a therapeutic setting to be told that the person they see as a man is actually a woman might be very harmful. Worse still if, when vulnerable they are physically attacked. And the whole thing is so open to gaming. It hurts my head to know that clever people can wilfully turn a blind eye to the way that predatory men will use this to gain access to victims – I mean, why wouldn’t they? Apparently even the worst man “wouldn’t lie about that”… unbelievable naivety. Being forced to lie under oath in a court of law, to pretend that a man on trial for sex offences (or any offence) is a woman takes it all to a new dystopian level. There is NOTHING kind about any of this for any of the women involved.”
“This area enrages me. An idea in your head does not make you a woman. No men should be in women’s spaces, rapists and murders being recorded as women is an outrage. By all means record them as what they are, men who identify as women, even the word transwomen enrages me, it confuses those who do not know what is going on. Men should not be in female prisons, police reports should refer to them as what they are… transwomen. We never agreed that they are women, I do not accept them as women, the institutions that govern us should not either.”
“Posthumous transing is usually profoundly sexist: ” this person was brave/clever therefore can’t have been really a woman.” Awful. Suicidal ideation used as a weapon is wildly irresponsible, and I gather inaccurate; made worse by people who also argue that transgenderism isn’t a mental health condition.”
“The whole gender ideology movement appears to me to be rife with misinformation and to embody many contradictions.”
“So often on official forms sex and gender are conflated. Sometimes I think it is because they think sex is a dirty word and gender is the polite version. I have realised that my official work profile says gender. I filled it in years ago and probably didn’t notice. I would now.”
“The drive to separate women from any kind of achievement is frightening. Even women who fought for women’s rights are being posthumously transed and their gains awarded to men. Women are being erased from history as non people and the drive to eradicate women from modern day life is terrifying. We cannot discuss our health without reference to men, we cannot discuss our lives without reference to men, male crimes are conferred upon women and male criminals are permitted to dominate female prisoners who have no means to escape. The refusal of police and medical institutions to confirm that women have the right to choose another woman to search them or treat them is terrifying – men will end up with the legal right to sexually assault us in the course of their duties and any act of non-submission by women becomes a criminal offence.”
“All very serious, but I think lack of clarity in healthcare information is particularly worrisome e.g. “people with a cervix”. I know someone who nearly died after giving birth in the UK, in part because her English wasn’t great and she didn’t understand some of the terms used. She pulled through but was given a 5% chance of survival at one point.”
“Really important for science and medicine not to erase sex.”
“It’s a mind f*ck. It’s mental torture. I can only imagine the horror it must be for victims of sexual violence.”
“Children have a right to know that women have achieved great success in history, it gives girls something to aspire to and it encourages respect and admiration for all children, girls are shown that they too can achieve great things and boys are shown that girls are humans, able to achieve and worth being friends with. That brings respect and equality.”
“see above. My health employer doesn’t ask for biological sex of employees, or if they are trans- so they have no idea. Total denial of reality, and the privacy, dignity and safety of women- both female staff and patients.”
“The misinformation is so dangerous and has been going on so long it appears to be reality to many a person/organisation. The government should step in and clearly clarify the law.”
“Facts should be the basis of everything. This ideology acts like an industry using jargon, sound bites, marketing, sales speak. Consumers are more sophisticated than they used to be and hardened to pressure selling. That’s where the likes of Stonewall have made a serious mistake. As I’ve said in previous question no one in the real world believed trans women are women and everyone believes sex is real.”
“You can’t run a healthy society based on lies.”
“I have seen this at many levels, in official documents and in the press and in propaganda from many organisations, I am a lawyer and I see how many lies and distortions about existing law are being spread, including by state organisations in different countries.”
“Woman have to set up bodies, funding systems, organizations (that are not infiltrated by males) that deliver for women, provide a powerful lobby and ensure women are never USURPED now, or in the future. It must involve thinkers, scientist, academics (GC). I know how I feel but this Gender ideology information must get to the masses – ordinary non uni educated – they will stop it in its tracks – trust them just use ordinary language.”
“It’s insidious and infuriating. How dare they speak for people who are dead? How dare they compel a woman who’s been raped to address her rapist as a woman? How dare they label a man’s crimes as being committed by a woman on a criminal’s say-so?”
“To me, this is an attempt to impose ideology over reality which is just chilling, and which has no place in a free, rational society. We need to know offending rates according to sex, we cannot force victims to deny the reality recognised by their senses. The forced compliance with delusion is something that EVERY person should be protesting about.”
“It should be written into law that any government funded body has to correctly sex all people. In particular the police misrecording crimes is going to affect all official statistics.”
“As a lifelong Guardian reader I have stopped reading the paper and become a Telegraph subscriber due to their mis-reporting and propaganda on behalf of trans people.”
“I earlier claimed that lesbian erasure is the issue I’m most angry about; men’s crimes being mis-recorded/reported as women’s crimes sits alongside that – I’m utterly appalled that this is allowed to happen.”
“It is the misinformation that controls the narrative. People don’t want to be responsible for another person killing themselves.”
“We have to address ‘policy capture’ in institutions, it is pervasive in so many areas.”
“I work in healthcare. I have seen policies that are flagrantly in violation of women’s human rights and protections.”
“What kind of society are we when judges will compel victims to perjurer themselves so as not to “misgender” a perpetrator. No coincidence it’s mostly women being compelled to lie to avoid upsetting violent men’s feelings.”
“So much appears to be being said about violence against the transgender community, whilst the appalling endemic violence against women gets ignored again and again. So women take a lesser position and are treated as less once more to men, such as transwomen. Society as a whole just seems to accept male violence levels in general, but even within that, male rape is treated as more shocking than the rapes of women. The misinformation that is most prevalent is more of an ignoring of information regarding violence against women, and highlighting any mild incident a transperson suffers rather than reporting extreme violence that occurs daily against women.”
“I am so concerned about the fact that there are now male patients on female wards in hospitals that I have taken the decision not to go to hospital.”
“Even the term ‘trans women’ is part of the creeping policy capture. These males are not women, they are not a subset of women and neither are women who are now referred to as ‘cis’ (which in itself is offensive and relegates women into a subset of our own biological sex). As the overwhelming majority of the general public are unfamiliar with the terms being used, most people assume that trans women / transwomen are biological women and not male. The creeping policy and language capture has been successful in causing confusion as well as ensuring increasingly that males can and must be accepted as women.”
“Biggest threat to women’s rights in my lifetime.”
“I live in Wales. Our government are Stonewall Diversity Champions and members of the Stonewall Equality Index. Essentially they do whatever Stonewall asks of them and back up their decisions with spurious stats, misinformation and actual lies. It is like talking to robots. Impossible to break through with actual facts. Even when these have been presented to our politicians, they continue to peddle the misinformation and use it as the basis for policy decisions. It’s frightening.”
“Just breathtaking that lies are allowed and not refuted by reputable organisations, and that women in history are being misrepresented in this way.”
“I feel like the world has gone mad. The fact that a man can rape a woman, then identity as a woman and be placed in a woman’s prison makes me sick. I also am amazed that everyone seems to believe the notion that trans woman are more threatened than ‘cis’ woman, when in fact cis woman are much more likely to die by violence.”
“I’m concerned about men in women’s prisons. I’m concerned about medical misinformation being peddled to trans-identifying people, as well as omission of possible medical complications when discussing transition. I’m also concerned about every attempt at psychotherapy (as opposed to medical transition) being shut down whenever it’s brought up, especially if it’s called “conversion therapy”. I’m especially concerned that desistance isn’t brought up more when talking about “trans” kids. About 70% of “trans” children desist at puberty, but that number drops significantly if they’ve been put on puberty blockers (which is much more likely if they’ve undergone social transition). This might have been mentioned, but I’m concerned that GC content creators (even just people who use social media) are deplatformed or suppressed, especially when truly hateful content (incels, far right groups, for example) are thriving.”
“As a survivor of rape and abuse from males the idea a woman can now rape another woman is appalling.”
“It is simply male control and power sold as ‘inclusiveness’. Civil liberty organisations and humanist organisations have taken up the cause on behalf of men and present them as victims. The research they use to say trans people are suicidal due to their gender dysphoria is poor in quality (limited samples and no control groups) and also ignores co-morbid conditions which are the actual cause of the suicidality, for example a lot of body dysphoria is caused by childhood trauma and neglect which results in personality disorders. The most common (Borderline PD, Anti-social PD and Narcissistic PD) all have an increased risk of suicidality. This is ignored since it doesn’t fit the control narrative and their gender identify or sexual fetish is seen as the sole cause. The message being, if you don’t let us do as we please we will kill ourselves and it will be your fault. Basic manipulation. This is particularly powerful when manipulating parents to get them to agree to more kids being transed before they grow out of it.”
“Where I live a former great house’s owner has been outed as gay by the National Trust. I consider it obscene. He might well have been, but his desire in life to keep it secret should be respected. There is no definitive evidence either way. We should not rewrite history. As for women being forced to refer to their male rapists as females. Whoever came up with that one should be sacked.”
“NO other lobby group has as much access and influence as Stonewall, and their misrepresentation of the law is egregious. The EHRC needs to be much more robust with organisations which misrepresent the law and the Equality Act needs to be upheld. The GRA should be repealed.”
“Men’s crimes should never be recorded as women’s. That makes statistics meaningless.”
“As a rape survivor, not being able to name male privilege is a travesty.”
“Been told that school HAS to let self identified boys use girl’s toilets and any staff member expressing discomfort at transitioning males using the female toilets should be instantly dismissed- legal advice from council, backed up by a law firm! Surely cannot be right?”
“Health professionals who focus only on the social aspects of mental health are too prone to peer pressure to adhere to fashionable theories. This seems especially true for school counsellors who don’t do enough thinking about the long term implications of sex change for the children they are supposed to be helping.”
“Women have enough disadvantage in life compared to men. Requiring men to be allowed on female only spaces takes away what limited protections that we have.”
“Recording crimes based on a fantasy is ludicrous, like someone saying they carry a sword because they are a Jedi. Skewing data based on a surge of propaganda is outrageous.”
“Identifying as a woman is a terrific way to deny male privilege.”
“Most members of the general public think transwoman means someone who has had full surgery. Most members of the general public think sex and gender mean the same thing, e.g. on a form. This is not by accident, and has to be rooted out before we can have accuracy in data again.”
“Women are already removed from so much of history because men decided they weren’t worth recording. Now we’re losing the women who were recorded because they’re posthumously being reassigned as men despite lack of evidence. Women being erased again is upsetting.”
“Women’s history is so undervalued and unrecorded. To lose the few women we do have and suggest that they were “really men” does them great disservice. It applies a modern notion to a period where the idea of trans just doesn’t exist and is not good historically practice.”
“We cannot speak the truth of our oppression if we are not able to say who or what a woman is.”
“It’s outrageous that even medical bodies and doctors are using gender ideology in their language.”
“The criminal statistics I think is a problem that will haunt the criminal justice system for decades to come, they just don’t know it yet. There needs to be a bigger pushback against this than there has been.”
“When lies are substituted for truth OR complete fantasy for physical reality we none of us have a clue what is really happening or really being said. George Orwell’s Newspeak will have arrived 100%.”
“As a therapist, I find it deeply disturbing that we are being ordered to affirm trans nonsense are reality. We are being discouraged from even examining what is motivating someone’s transition. We are not allowed to suggest and explore that this may be a result of trauma, or an underlying mental health condition… How entirely screwed up is that?!?!”
“I would not call any man accused of rape or assault she and all male crimes against women should be accurately recorded. I am concerned that educational institutions are giving wrong information and promoting queer theory as if it were the only permissible philosophy of human nature and society.”
“Forced teaming of women with trans identifying men by the state is state sanction sex offending plain and simple.”
“IPSO has a lot to answer for. Their guidelines have hamstrung mainstream media, obliging them to refer to males by she/her, and often the fact that they are referring to a male at all is hidden with just a ‘previously known as’ included in the last paragraph. I have lost all trust, to the point where a crime committed by a woman is reported, my reflex though is ‘was it an actual woman?’. I have been very disappointed by the BBC actively pushing misinformation (100 genders, suicide stats, Radio 4 drama etc.). The Guardian – I look forward to its bankruptcy. They’ve been shit on this for years but the WiSpa reporting was a new low even for them.”
“The use of untrue, unreferenced or unreliable ‘statistics’ and evidence is a sign of unfounded argument. If this is allowed to continue (as it is currently, being promoted by prominent figures including MPs and celebrities, presenters and broadcasters/journalists), it is no more than propaganda. Evidence must be attached to broad claims and provided with rigour to uphold changes to policy, law and public freedoms. This is being ignored with particular reference to GII in ways no other single issue has ever enjoyed.”
“Misinformation is dangerous for collecting data. The majority of people don’t question information distributed from reliable sources such as the NHS. This can lead to health issues being ignored. Misinformation is dangerous for those people where English is not their first language. Elderly people are vulnerable to misinformation as they tend to believe what large public institutions tell them.”
“I think if we treat it as the mental illness it used to be, there are no real justifications for recording the gender identity but not sex of criminals, housing them in female prisons, using their preferred pronouns in evidence etc. but I don’t think there’s an increased risk of attacks from this group (Just the same risk as any other man).”
“I am greatly concerned about the undermining of women’s legal status and rights by organisations, including the justice system and the national health service, which should know better and be made to adhere to the law.”
“No trans person has ever been murdered in Scotland yet women are murdered so regularly that it’s hardly ever reported.”
“Trans rights activists rival Goebbels in their use of false propaganda. Not a single transwoman was murdered in the UK last year. Two actual women were murdered every WEEK. How dare they claim to be more “oppressed” or say that women are privileged. And to dismiss FGM and domestic violence survivors as “weaponising their trauma”.”
“If we don’t have accurate sex based data, we can’t identify & deal with sex based problems. In the 1980s we campaigned for sex based data to be collected for this reason. Now data is being confounded & confused by gender self identification. This will set women back so far. We will have to start again.”
“I will not refer to a man as a woman. I will object to any man imposing himself in a female space. I am angry beyond words at the pure misogyny of the trans cult.”
“It’s Orwellian the way they are using language to erase “woman” and “mother” from the language. Another trick is saying “sex assigned at birth”. Sex is not assigned, it is observed, and the doctor’s observation is accurate over far more than 99% of the time. Saying “assigned” makes it sound like the doctor just guessed, instead of “observed” which states that sex is a fact. Also, the deliberate misuse of the word “gender” when they mean “biological sex” is confusing to people. They have no definitions for “nonbinary” “Genderfluid” or any of the other weasel words they use to befog the issues. They hate biology facts. I have a BA in biology and have been told many times that I don’t know anything about sex or gender. Mammals cannot change sex. It’s wealthy white men erasing women from the language and erasing safe female-only spaces. Gender is nothing more than societally imposed bullshit, yet they act like gender is something special and innate like having a soul.”
“I wish education systems were capable of producing thinkers able to resist the flat-footed, brute methods used to lull people into this cult. The repetition of ‘trans women are women’ alone should clue people in.”
“It has to stop. Transwomen have more power than women as they are men, they have no idea of the lived experience of women and offensively seem to think sexual comments are validating, women find the same comments threatening”.
“The erosion of women’s rights, the suppression of free speech and the attempted change of language will never work for women. Why are men’s rights prioritised over those of women? What society tolerates/facilitates this? We are fearful. We cannot trust those in positions of power who would attempt to deceive us through false information and manipulated statistics.”
“As someone who works with data, I am continuously frustrated by the conflation of sex and gender and what it means for data integrity.”
“The promotion of GI ideology in schools should be outlawed. I’ve written repeatedly to my federal government reps about men self-IDing into women’s prisons and crime statistics being falsified; about criminalizing ‘conversion therapy’ that is defined as anything other than ‘affirmation’; about young doctors denying the reality of sex; about workplace “diversity” training that promotes misinformation (such as ‘everyone has a gender identity) and is coercive.”
“I just can’t believe how much the TRAs lie. It’s insane!”
“Misinformation’s the first step to indoctrinate those who believe in this nonsense movement, it also affects us women as society approves of these ideas, damaging women’s rights and spaces.”
“Gender identity is being pushed as the end all be all to women’s mental health problems. Depressed? You’re probably trans. Don’t like being hyper sexualized as soon as you start developing? Trans. Can’t cope with abuse and trauma? Trans.”
“I’m tired of the gaslighting. I’m tired of victims having to self-censor to avoid misgendering their abusers. On social media, it baffles me to see people getting more upset over someone misgendering a murderer than the fact that the murderer killed someone.”
“How has it come to this–that even science lies? As for me, they’d better not try to trans me after I peg: I am a woman (adult female human being) and a Lesbian. Where the hell has common sense gone? I often wonder if, in their heart of hearts, these people REALLY BELIEVE that cocks in frocks are REALLY women, and women who say they are men who get pregnant really think they are men.”
“Absolutely all of the above. Parents and young people are being grossly misled.”
“How have the police even got the nerve to go along with this lunacy? Plus the court systems. I thought it was illegal to lie under oath, and you were meant to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Therefore saying your male rapist is a woman, is a complete untruth! Because you’ve ‘mis gendered’ someone, YOU could end up in trouble because of their hurt feelings! Doesn’t matter that they raped you, oh no, you called them a man, but they say they’re a woman. Madness!”
“I get so frustrated that this is possible, all of the sympathy for this movement relies on misinformation.”
“The crime statistics that will be affected dramatically by this will result in having less evidence to keep women’s spaces safe.”
“This misinformation (particularly suicide statistics) negatively affects the groups they are purporting to protect.”
“That a woman who has been raped is forced to refer to her biologically male attacker as a woman, and speak of her penis, is damaging and victim blaming. That these attackers, who have committed an absolutely male crime of rape, can then be locked up with easy access to a captive supply of victims, by being placed in women’s prison is an abomination.”
“Imagine a woman was in a psych ward being treated for delusions. Then a male identifying as a female was admitted and that female was compelled to call him a she and a woman even though it was clear he was a he. How would that female trust her judgement, she would question her reality, and sanity. It’s cruel. It’s lying.”
“Keep hearing Labour MPs trot out invisible and non evidenced based stats about trans suicides. It’s as if they’ve been programmed like a Manchurian candidate to chat absolute bollox!”
“I truly do care about helping safeguard the trans community. If there ARE homicides and suicides, then I want those problems to be addressed and those people to be helped. But it’s not helping them to just make stuff up off the fly, especially if it mostly benefits people with privilege and ignores those who actually are being marginalized. I’m also worried about people getting harmed rather than helped by their therapists.”
“Where do I begin? Every one of your concerns are also my concerns. Removing sex and replacing it with self identifying gender has corrupted data integrity. This has and will continue to be detrimental for all research across society including health, mental health, social issues, housing, crime, education, employment, other.”
“The whole gender ideology obscures the truth and designedly so. It is an attack on women.”
“Most people don’t know the real issues – we need the truth to be heard. A campaign should challenge firstly the notion that all trans people have had or will have surgery – make it clear that most trans women have and will retain male genitals and are attracted to women – the general public think they are gay and want to live as women.”
“Misinformation is a part of the gender identity strategy.”
“Three dead women a week suggest that it is female people who are vulnerable in society rather than the stats on harm to male people with gender differences. This stuff absolutely terrifies me. No one cares about the violence against women by males.”
“I was disappointed when my therapist asked for my pronouns right off the bat. That made me trust her less. I am particularly alarmed by the prospect that sex will be ignored by doctors and medical researchers. Biological sex is critical to proper medical practice.”
“I am among those women who were led to believe something might be medically wrong with us because we don’t conform to sexist, heteronormative gender roles and hate being treated as inferior in work and university due to our sex. Therapists were oh so affirming and encouraged me to try hormones without ever breathing a word of side effects; doing that research on my own was a big part of how I became aware of the horrors of this movement beyond the invasion of my lesbian community.”
“Currently pregnant. Something only females can be. The literature being handed out is just stupid – “women and birthing people”. It is basic biology. It has nothing to do with what gender stereotype I ascribe to, if any. My feelings cannot wish this gestation onto my husband, as we are both bound by our respective serial organs as to the role we play in reproduction.”
“I’m angry at the fact that affirmation in the case of Gender Dysphoria is the only permitted approach to treatment – particularly for young people. Any other exploratory approach runs the risk of being called “Conversion therapy” but it is so important in case other serious mental health problems are being hidden or overlooked.”
“FFS. The law and ‘gender’. This rapist is a woman. Well bless me, *she* has a dick and a beard but you must call her ‘she’ and she’s in a women’s prison. With women. Information/Recording thereof should be accurate and honest. I don’t know why people aren’t screaming this from rooftops.”
“I work in mental health. Affirmation makes no sense in a psychotherapeutic setting; it flies in the face of evidence based practice. Flight from ones sexed body is often a signal for prior childhood sexual abuse. Very often. Boys with homophobic parents are supported by the State to tell the child they are in the wrong body, force them to commit to life “as” a girl. This also impacts actual girls. These boys have appalling surgical outcomes and never experience sexual feelings, puberty having been prevented. But we are forced to pretend that this is what the evidence tells us to do. It does not. I despair for the floods of girls, sexualised by adult men from about 9yo, who seek to live as people not objects, and see radical double mastectomies as their best recourse. They are sold the lie that T and “top surgery” will make them a man, as if men would ever cede power to females who claim man identity. They are lied to and a generation of gay/ lesbian kids is being sterilised.”
“I am afraid of strange men, I am afraid to see males in sex segregated spaces. I’m afraid for other women and girls too.”
“I would refuse to refer to a male as a woman in court because they make you swear to tell the truth.”
“I do stats for a living. Math should tell the universe the truth about itself. Men being counted as women, especially in medical and crime stats, makes me livid.”
“Health Care requires accurate, evidence based assessment and documentation. Not ideology.”
“I am sick of reading made up accounts of suicide and murder of trans people. It is overwhelmingly women who are murdered. Overwhelmingly by men.”
“The takeover of the NHS, police and parliamentary parties by the ideology is really disturbing. Online dictionaries and info sources changing definitions of woman and of lesbian etc, willy nilly is just bizarre and distressing. Referring to ‘vagina owners’ and ‘birthing bodies’ is mad language. It makes me incandescent that these stupid decisions are made without talking to women themselves and without any risk assessment or equality impact assessment, for a tiny tiny minority of people – all in the name of ‘inclusion’. When in fact it excludes 98% of the target audience.”
“It’s virtue signalling and gaslighting that’s directly counter to the advancement of women’s rights.”
“We must change the policy of the NHS to ensure women’s sex- segregated spaces are protected. GirlGuiding and YHA must be challenged. The Bench Book must be changed; get Stonewall out of courts.”
“I think the incorrect suicide stats stated by gender activists are believed by the politicians & general public unfortunately. Also the harms of puberty blockade/cross sex hormones & mutilating surgeries are suppressed.”
“This is by far the most egregious aspect of gender identity ideology – the lying is both outrageous and constant. The cherry picking of trans murder rates (mostly Brazil with involvement in prostitution) never gets called out by MSM. The crime problem is constantly spun so they are trans when they are victims but women when they are perpetrators. It goes on and on…”
“I am particularly worried about question 66. Gender identity ideology promoted in healthcare. I don’t want to be assumed male because I am Butch, NOR do I want males in any shared medical space or mtfs attending to me in hospital rooms that are meant for females. They are not. I prefer Female Doctors and nurses in general, but I do NOT want to be housed with bio males in ANY circumstance. I feel for those in Nursing homes, the statistics of male employees taking sexual advantage of female patients and even male ones, is abominable. Institutionalized females of any variety need their safe spaces to REMAIN single sex and Female only. I am not opposed to transgender shelters, wards, prison areas or bathrooms being created by and for them.”
“I’m more than concerned. I’m terrified.”
“In my workplace we record sex when counting men/women in senior leadership roles or holding highly technical skills. Encouraging women to continue in technical roles is important, the transition of two of our most technical men now makes it look as if we’ve suddenly had a huge increase of women in senior technical roles when indeed the fact remains that there are *no* women holding those senior technical roles. How can we improve women’s representation if we aren’t accurately reflecting this?”
“Women who prefer single-sex services will simply withdraw from seeking timely help with healthcare concerns or seek alternative outcomes, including other forms of community service, if “services” do not address their needs. This has happened, and continues to happen in Northern Ireland, for example, and is a phenomenon in many other countries.”
“TRA responses to reason are invariably hyperbolic accusations of hatred. This is never qualified. It is up to the media to challenge this and stop the awful ‘both sides’ response. It degrades us all.”
“It’s terrifying how much misinformation has found a foundation in so many organizations and government, and that it has been done by stealth rather than open dialogue with the ability to challenge. There is a hidden agenda, manipulation, and forced language and thought that is extremely scary.”
“Accurate data is the basis of all planning and analysis of the data informs financial decisions for the future. If male crimes are classed as female and men are recorded as women all this is jeopardised.”
“I am concerned that not properly recording sex in government, health or other statistics will make accurate data analysis impossible. Caroline Criado Perez has shown that data on women is hardly every used in policy making, design, or research. Reducing the data quality will make the situation worse.”
“Telling children who are struggling for whatever reason that they will kill themselves and that other people want them to die is dangerously irresponsible and contrary to best practice for discussing suicide with vulnerable groups. Allowing children to believe that they can actually change sex rather than the truth that it is cosmetic only will cause so many problems when they realise the truth. Accurate crime statistics are vital, male crime recorded as female crime distorts our ability to calculate risks and makes female crime statistics meaningless. Males being imprisoned with females, many of whom have been victims of male violence, is inhuman. As a young girl I was affected by the lack of female role models and to see them being hidden away is painful, girls need to learn about the achievements of women from the past to become the women of the future. Sex is important in all medical settings.”
“I worry that the whole story is not being told. Children are not having it made clear that nothing can change their sex and nothing that is done to them can be undone and that a great deal of it will actually harm their physical health.”
“There is a lot of misinformation regarding gender ideology, the first being that trans people are the most marginalised and without rights. Whenever the question of ‘what rights don’t they have’ is asked, there is never an answer. The other common misinformation is regarding the suicide statistics of both trans adult and children, I have never seen anything official to back their stats up. Also, it is frequently stated that trans women are the largest victims of male violence, but we have stats that show women are murdered every 2-3 days. I feel that all we get are lies, and that makes me distrust and also dislike them.”
“How can you combat the patriarchy if men are counted as women?”
“The overwhelming misinformation propagated by the trans lobby is one of the key causes of my distress regarding this issue.”
“Facts should be the only driver in information we receive from mainstream media. Anything else is propaganda.”
“Misinformation is everywhere, however when health “authorities” spout this nonsense it becomes actively dangerous.”
“I am afraid to change doctors in my health plan because I could get a doctor with a female name who is actually male. I am worried about being in a care home and not being able to choose female carers. I am worried about nurses who are men claiming to be women. I am greatly concerned about all of this!”
“To make women call their rapists ‘she’ is the ultimate insult.”
“When the person uses their power to overcome women as they have that strength from being born a man, then that should remain front and centre of legal challenges and workplace rights. Male genitals endanger women and women and children need safe spaces which will continue to be eroded if we don’t challenge this.”
“I am very concerned about men who say they are women being housed in the female prison estate and having to be referred to as she in court.”
“I could just scream. We should not have to be fighting for this.”
“These men and their followers have completely destroyed women in every way they can AND MUST BE STOPPED!!”
“Something has to be done as there is too many ppl who hold too much power able to sell misinformation and lies.”
“It creates utter confusion.”
“This transfer of ‘womanhood’ to sexual predators empowers these men and completely usurps our power to maintain safeguarding.”
“The Suicide stats are BS and the post transition suicide stats are not told. Violence and Rape attributed to Women is absurd and messes with statistics and Police etc., are not following these stats. Thank goodness some Women are attempting to using reports (sic). As for calling an assailant who was male a woman I would not do it!!! Acquisition of lesbian History infuriates me trans does not exist its manufactured.”
“It’s gas lighting on a mass scale. White middle class men opting into an oppressed class and getting away with it. I wish the suicide stats were challenged more and people were clearly told the damage they do by weaponising suicide.”
“Misinformation leads to confusion. Statistics are skewed. A woman should NEVER have to refer to her rapist as she.”
“Truth deserves Respect. GI is a LIE.”
“They are creating a society of induced misinformed people.”
“Being forced to call men women in court is being forced to perjure oneself.”
“Even medical establishments are confused about sex differences. The NHS is giving misinformation and insulting the women who use it apparently for the sake of a tiny minority of men. This is sick.”
“There are implications for scientific research. It is also a great injustice to misidentify perpetrators of sexual assault. The transing of the dead is insulting but can probably be ignored.”
“Statistics are crucial to making rational decisions and in this area are in danger of being totally rubbished.”
“There is an epidemic (‘pandemic’) of misinformation; some of it is deliberate. It creates a dumbing-down effect, and divides the world into polarities, dualisms and simplistic judgement. Like any other form of fascism, it forecloses the capacity for critical and reflective thinking. We have seen many examples and deadly effects of this, and have no excuse for not fighting it wherever it raises its cruel head.”
“We are forcing women to be ‘polite’ to their rapist. Women are done being polite.”
“I’m appalled that my former profession, psychotherapy, has been largely colonised by gender identity ideology. As for the posthumous transing of women, I’m enraged that the social pressures that forced women into certain roles or ways of presenting are being entirely wiped from history by the absurd notion that they were really trans.”
“I don’t want to share any women only facilities/spaces with men. The 2010 Equality Act needs to be upheld.”
“I can’t believe that men can commit the most depraved sexual crimes and then because they are pretending to be women, it’s classed as “our” crime and skews the crime figures. It’s totally wrong. As a woman, I’m disgusted that we are blamed for their revolting crimes!!!”
“Gender ideology is totalitarian and uses Goebbels methods, gaslighting and manipulation of data.”
“My husband and I are historians. The general level of history knowledge in education is embarrassingly low. Critical thinking training is also at an all-time low. Social media has contributed to this low. I am particularly incensed at the promotion of gender ideology within healthcare. At a recent hospital appointment I had to use an alternate entrance and shield my eyes from a huge eyesore of a rainbow path across the front of the building.”
“I am a lawyer and so these issues that impact the law and its protection for women is very concerning.”
“Control the language, control the culture. It’s terrifying. I heard an interview with a young woman who had escaped North Korea and when asked why the North Koreans didn’t rebel explained it’s because they didn’t have the words, they didn’t know, without the words for repression, you do not know you are repressed. One of the most disturbing aspects of this time we are living in is the death of journalism. What outlets do you go to find the ‘truth’? It has been years since I heard/read a report and passed it on. Before I speak about anything (however trivial) I will do my own research as best I can because most of the ‘trusted’ outlets (BBC, Guardian, etc.) LIE. I mean outright LIE. Where are the real journalists who should be slavering at the mouth at this ‘juicy’ story, wanting to get at the facts? It’s appalling that one misquoted/biased article is simply quoted and quoted on down the line. WHERE ARE THE INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISTS!!! Why hasn’t someone infiltrated one of these clinics to check up on the stories?”
“GII relies on misinformation and no debate as it just does not stand up to any scrutiny. The more discussions and information available hopefully we can stop the attack on women’s rights and on children’s physical and mental health. Actually saw TRAs attacking women on line for ‘fact shaming’ demonising and delegitimising facts and information.”
“It is all the consequence of one tiny ‘be nice’ lie hence why pronouns are continuously pushed.”
“This is a travesty and a scandal, it is not merely a difference of opinion: we are being lied to.”
“Those in power know men are a risk to women. Trans rights is a men’s rights movement.”
“It feels like a hate campaign of misinformation and silencing, in order to turn women into a subordinate sex class.”
“Professional and public services should not be promoting politics and should not be discriminating against women or proscribing compelled speech. Their job is to be professional and non judgemental and not advertise they are on the gender WooWoo bus.”
“The idea that gender ideology is progressive is ridiculous. The fact that Stonewall is setting an absurd anti-woman agenda without evidence based debate is scandalous.”
“We need to name things properly to understand them and act on them. By erasing the words woman, and lesbian, you can’t protect them in law and you can’t treat them in medicine/healthcare.”
“I’m already suspicious when I see crimes of violence reported as being committed by women – very often the perpetrator is male when you investigate further. All this falsification of data is doing is making it easier for predatory men to act out their crimes.”
“I can think of few things worse than having to refer to your rapist as “she”. And I am concerned about the promotion of the ideology in therapeutic settings because gender dysmorphia may well not be the issue and, at the very least, other possible causes for distress etc., need to be thoroughly explored.”
“Several of the examples here are horrendous ‘gaslighting’. If a woman has been attacked and/or raped, and then feels compelled to ‘speak the language’ of her attacker, even if it does not feel true, is extremely harmful to her and anyone listening.”
